Once you find the place (An out of the way location) you'll be amazed. Modern, high quality ingredients, skillfully prepared. The Elk steak & the mushrooms with the pork were outstanding. Salted caramel ice cream was a delicious treat. Would return if in the area.

What a lovely dining experience at Restaurant Anise. Everything was delightful from the wine recommendation, starters, main courses, to the dessert. Easily makes the list of my top 5 favorite meals ever! Can't wait to plan our return. Granbury is lucky to have this place!

Absolutely love this hidden gem! It was such a nice surprise, absolutely gourmet with great choices! Environment has a retro classic feel, soft music very relaxing! Excellent fresh teas, unique choices with the chefs artistry so delicious! Wait staff is very helpful and knowledgeable Taylor is great! Love to take people for a special lunch, I have not been for dinner yet but look very much forward to it! Salads are beautiful!

It's a set menu with two choices of main course. Lamb or Mahi Mahi. I understand this changes daily. The stuffed mushrooms were cold the meatballs were ok the roasted chicken was ok. The Mahi Mahi was cold and dry and tough as leather. The bread pudding was ok. I did not eat anything but one mushroom and my chicken strip the orzo and broccolini. I explained to the server however I got a bill for $86. No offer of "let us make it right" or a comped check or a gift card to come back Nothing but a check and I'm sorry I hope you come back and try again. No. Not this girl. I had another lady at the table say the same thing. When the mushrooms came out cold we should have said something and had them take it back. But we were part of the "Murder Mystery" so we played good sport. So if they ask me to participate again I will have to decline. I do not recommend this place. I can get better food at Randy's Oyster Bar and for a third the price. I actually love that place. This gets a 1 out of 10 The 1 is because the girl that booked the event was sweet.

Amazing! We've eaten at some of the best restaurants in this country and others. Anise stands with them all. It was such an unexpected surprise. Don't hesitate to go for either lunch or dinner.

This is a quaint little restaurant has a nice quiet atmosphere with outstanding food! The service was top-notch and the chef prepared food was nicely plated and delectable! We will definitely go back!

We've eaten at Anise several times and consistently find it excellent. The food is always creative and well prepared. Service is always professional and friendly. The restaurant is comfortable and the ambiance is great. I would highly recommend Anise for a relaxed dinner or special occasions. You can't go wrong!
