Great spot for a quick bite. I had the chicken parm sub. It was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this spot. The service was stellar. Really great experience. I will definitely be frequenting this restaurant.

Had seen the A&M Cafe for a long time on my way back and forth to work. It's in an industrial area and there's no signage other than a small one on the front of their "space" so it's easy to miss. I might never have taken notice other than that I'm an Aggie... So, after all this time I finally went with a friend for lunch today. The inside is small but clean. The restroom was spotless, and I really appreciated that. It's run by an older couple. I think a lot of their business is from the warehouses and businesses that surround them and from the conversations, it appears that they have a lot of repeat business. Many folks were getting their food to go but they did have ten or so tables so there was plenty of room to eat in if you want to do so. They have a lot of subs and salads. Cold subs, hot subs, regular subs, Italian subs, etc... They also have a breakfast menu they serve until 10:30am. They are only open for breakfast and lunch though, so you'll have to find someplace else for dinner. I had one of their Friday specials (a gyro) and my friend had the other Friday special which was a turkey club. My gyro, a bag of chips and a 12oz can of soda was $9.74. Very reasonable these days. The food was decent. It was fresh and good. I had a bit of trouble finding the meat on the gyro. It was mostly pita, lettuce and sauce. But I figure that's why the price was what it was. My friend said his turkey club was a decent turkey club. Nothing to write home about but just an average, good sandwich. This isn't a place for a first date or that's going to show up in Zagat's, but it's not supposed to be. However, if you want a decent meal at a price that is hard to find these days, these are hard-working folks offering a good product as evidenced by the number of folks coming in and leaving that knew the owners by name and visa-versa. Normally, I'd say there's no reason to go back in particular, but I forgot to ask them what the connection was to A&M (or it it's even a reference to Texas A&M) so I may have to stop in for breakfast one of these days...

The guy that took my order was very curt and short. I was really looking forward to coming here often because the prices r reasonable and it is close to my job. However, depending on how good the food is I may not return.
$9 for grass with a handful of chicken bites. When I gave him customer feedback to put more chicken perhaps He said to order more chicken. I weight 180 lbs soaking wet normally a $3 burrito at Fast food normally fills me up. Waste of money
