I got breakfast here and chose the chilaquiles verdes and they were very good. They were on the dry side— it could’ve had more salsa but overall they tasted very good. I like that you get the choice to pick your side and how you want the eggs. Other places just do a standard way or no eggs. I will definitely be back try their other food! If you’re looking for authentic, this is a great place for it!

We have been looking for a Mexican restaurant that can hit the spot just like home; this is it! The environment was comfortable and well lit. The service was wonderful. The food was the best we have had in 17 years! We had breakfast and the Cafe de Olla was just what we needed to get the day going. I also picked up extra Chile Verde for lunch. We will be back soon to try the menudo!

This has a special place in my heart. The food always hits. Breakfast? All day. Quality food literally made fresh.I swear I’ve nearly eaten every single thing on the menu and it all hits! All time favs are the chilaquiles with red sauce, sunny side up egg (you can also add meat), and another go to is the plain ham & cheese torta. This place screams nostalgia and classic homemade cooking.

The food here is delicious. The best food I've had at a Mexican restaurant. Great prices as well. To start they serve homemade tortilla chips with three, amazing housemade salsas. I got the platillo de mole (chicken) and every bite was exceptional and standalone. The chicken was crusted from a sear, smothered in delicious mole, served with rice and beans and avocado with cotijilo cheese. 2 thumbs up!

Wow, neither my wife or I cannot remember a better tasting meal we've had at a Mexican restaurant than the one we just had here! It was so delicious we both purchased a second round of each of our meals to take home for tomorrow. And we're already thinking of friends we want to bring here.The atmosphere is so pleasant. It has the character of a family run business with lots of personality and care, with a lot of options for places to sit and nice amount of space between parties. The server was so friendly and personable. The prices were so low/fair I'm not sure you could get a meal at a fast food restaurant for the same price. And the food was so fresh and delicious!My wife got the mole, and not only was the sauce good as expected, but we couldn't believe how delicious and fresh the chicken tasted. I had the enchilada platter with 4 different enchiladas (several of which I've never seen on menus before). They did not disappoint!!What other place serves chips with 3 homemade salsas? One of their salsas is so good we think they could bottle it and sell it.The food here is better than restaurants that are 2 to 3 times more expensive. This is our new Mexican restaurant...totally worth the drive from Las Colinas.
