If you are looking for great bbq served by a wonderful family-run business, Eddlemon’s is the place. Serving the greater Grand Prairie area for decades, they have always come through for our family’s catering needs. I highly recommend their tasty and tender brisket, along with the excellent sausage. Everything is always done right at a very reasonable price.

Great place to grab breakfast or lunch while enjoying a day at the course. Their bbq, however, is worth getting even if you don’t play golf. Prices are also very reasonable. Not many places these days have great food and reasonable prices. Bbq sandwich is $7 and fantastic. The owners are also very friendly and service is great. Love this place.

The Eddlemon's have been serving BBQ in Grand Prairie ever since I can remember. I love going in there, ordering my food and talking to either of the brother's, they are both very friendly and talkative. I love their brisket, I go there every other week to get a pound of sliced brisket.

Great courses that test you but don’t have any punishing sand traps. Lots of water makes up for a lot of that. The 28th hole, as this is a 27 hole tract, is a great BBQ restaurant offering a variety of bbq, burgers, sandwiches, breakfasts. etc. Keep in mind that this is a very busy course so I would highly recommend getting your tee times in advance.

Eddlemon's has a long history in Grand Prairie and had a great reputation back in the day. Now it appears that either the name was sold or family took it over because it's nowhere near the same quality that made it "famous". The only location I could find now is in the clubhouse at the Prairie Lakes Golf Course. It has plenty of seating and the tables are spaced reasonably far apart. The menu is posted by the counter but it doesn't have any pricing on it. Huh? My friend ordered the Par 4 BBQ plate that comes with brisket, German sausage, beans and potato salad. But he doesn't like potato salad so they gave him some fries instead. There weren't any other "sides" choices. He thought the brisket was average as were the beans and the fries. He did like the German sausage. I agreed with his assessment of the meats. I didn't want beans, potato salad or fries so I just ordered a half pound each of the brisket, German sausage and the bologna. The brisket was ok but really didn't have any bbq to it. No smoke ring, no smoky flavor. Just a brisket like would come out of your oven. I did like their BBQ sauce (even though it was served cold) so I put that on it so I could pretend like it was barbecued. The bologna, like the brisket, wasn't barbecued! It was slices of bologna like you'd get a deli and then seared/warmed on a grill. So it was good bologna but not barbecued bologna. The German sausage didn't taste barbecued either to me so much as just cooked on a grill. But it had that charcoal grilled flavor and was actually pretty good and the best thing by far that we had. My dad loves sausage so I brought most of that home for him and he had some for breakfast and gave it his seal of approval. The bill wasn't bad at all (compared to what I normally pay for barbecue) but, then again, this really wasn't what I'd consider good barbecue. Just decent "cooked meat". So if you're playing golf at Prairie Lakes, it would be a good place to get something before or after your game (and they do sell beer). But there are too many good barbecue places in the DFW area to make a trip to the golf course just to eat at Eddlemon's.

Went here Saturday for dinner with four people. Three of us ordered steaks ALL were overdone. I sent mine back and received another overdone steak again. The dining room was at least 80 degrees. The service was horrible and it wasn’t even busy. Avoid this place for a food choice.

Normally the food and service are great, but today we came while they were starting to close. As I was walking in this young lady was walking towards the count from the dining room. I ordered a chop beef sandwich. She went into the kitchen and asked something from another lady that was there. She then started making my sandwich. I noticed she didn't wash her hands, she did not put gloves on, and what set me off was that she put food in her mouth while she was fixing my sandwich. She saw me see her and got the scared look on her face. I didn't say anything, but you can bet I'm not eating that sandwich, which came with the tout of golf. Owners, I have been in food service management for 19 years. Cleanliness is the first thing I noticed when I go into an establishment. Not to mention that we are still in a pandemic. Train your staff; at least get them the supplies they need to be compliant.

Par4 plate (brisquit, sausage beans potato salad) and chopped beef sandwich very lean and good. Sausage smoked flavor was delicious! Priced reasonably.
