Well let's start with the establishment itself this is mainly a message for the owner Clean up !!!!!!! I can't stress that enough to you Please.! Now let's go to the food everything on picture looks great presentation looks great just no flavor at all, none at all. Another piece of advice to the owner taste your food once in a while I swear I had Corona and I couldn't taste anything, everything was cooked well just no flavor at all even on my beans It's the simplest food to flavor and still no flavor. The bathrooms were also very horrible there is BLACK MOLD on the ceiling toilets are disgusting if that looks bad imagine what the food says about the restaurant. The employees looked very unhappy there like mad or upset. I'm surprised the the Grand Prairie health department hasn't visited this place. The place NEEDS BIG IMPROVEMENTS PLEASE GET IT TAKEN CARE OF!!!

I know y'all are used my negative reviews, but I've got not one bad thing to say about this place. Friendly staff, clean inside and out, plentiful portions, reasonable prices (especially considering the current state of affairs), and damn fine barbecue.

Holy Lord, this place is amazing ?. The smoked chicken is unbelievable. Very juicy and melts in your mouth. The turkey sandwich is amazing, too. One of the best I've had in any BBQ establishment. The sides are great, okra, fries, sweet potatoe fries.Some of the items are currently not available because of shipping, so please be patient and aware-- they post sign on door. It's almost as if you've stepped back in time when the service in the restaurants used to be great. They still practice those old fashioned values. Why can't we have a place this good in Dallas? Prices are phenomenal, too.

I keep hearing how delicious Gordo's BBQ is on Grand Prairie Texas Talk (Facebook Group) and let me tell you the brisket was perfect as well as the spicy cheddar sausage. Everything was fresh and hit the spot. I will definitely be back.

Finally got to try this place and was not disappointed at all. Everything was fresh and amazingly delicious! Worth the wait, even the kids enjoyed the visit. Went during Covid period and every protocol was followed.

I order brisket and turkey, corn, and fried okra. The brisket was pretty good! I can tell it was fresh and it’s well seasoned. I didn’t find it to be fatty like some of the other reviews.The turkey however…. To be honest, I’m not sure what animal it actually came from. I love smoked turkey but this… well at first I thought I had maybe been given some sort of white grilled fish. Then I took another bite and looked at the texture, it looked like a turkey version of spam. Kind of like the turkey fibers were glued together. It was as salty as spam too. I… wish I hadn’t ordered an entire 1/2 pound.The corn was also surprising. It was half of a frozen unflavored heated up corn cob. Half of a cob. For $2. Let that sink in.Overall just really frustrated that I paid $30 for this order. Probably won’t eat here again. If you love brisket and it’s this or Dickey’s, go here.

I love Gordos, great BBQ, I particularly love the ribs and macaroni which have been taken off the menu for some reason. I hope it comes back so I can be a frequent customer again. Only thing I would like to add is that the desserts should be made in a separate oven, my pecan pie tasted like brisket in every bite ?
I ordered a GrubHub delivery. I ordered the three meats two sides. I got sliced brisket and I paid the five dollars for ribs never received my ribs and they won't answer the phone. SMH. SMH

Mac n cheese 4 star, very cheesy, corn on the cob 2 star, water logged and no taste, sweet sauce 4 star, gordo's sauce 4 star, bold sauce 4 star, fresh brewed tea 4.5 star. I travel with my job and hit the local Q everywhere I go. I was a little disappointed being Texas which usually gets a 4-5 star from me. Pics were one thing that drew me here with decent reviews. Food doesn't look like the pics.

Exactly what we were looking for! The corn nugs are BAAAACK! Ribs will knock your socks off. Recommend getting the three meats because two will leave you wishing for more. Buns also were a nice surprise. Thanks for having us!
