The Food is good, but they are always late they open up when they feel like it, So they don't really care to serve the community, they just want money! How do you open up at 12 and still be late? They lack organizational skills, and professionalism. They need to be more serious about their business, and not have customers outside waiting on them.

The smell of the restaurant is as unwelcoming as the staff. I can't even rate the food because the cashier was so rude and uncooperative I couldn't get my order in. I for some reason couldn't get the simple stew and swallow I ordered, but got a lot of attitude and eye rolls in the process. I'll never ponder giving them my money again, because these dummies obviously don't want it, and I don't know what the point of a business is outside of that.

I came in 15 mins to closing. They still had some Jollof rice and meat pie left. The stewed chicken was really great. I has been craving Nigerian food for some weeks, being 9 months pregnant is pretty difficult trying to cook at home. My son loved talking to the grandma that was there. They are very nice and respectable people. The Jollof rice was good as well and very seasoned.

Mama B, your food is great but your service is very poor. You don’t have a working system on how to take accurate orders and payments. Several times I make a catering order and when it’s time to pick up, you say you forgot. Please Create a system that works so you won’t keep disappointing your loyal customers. To stay in business for long, create a system that works & improve your customer service. Get someone professional to help you take orders, enter it into the system so your business can thrive and do better. Your customers can only excuse this poor service for a while but if something isn’t done, they will take their business to more organized restaurants. I hope you accept this constructive criticism so your business can live long.

The $160 full tray of chicken was tough and way over cooked. The flavor was okay. The rice Jollof and the fried rice were okay. The $60 tray of plantains were in small bits instead of nicely sliced halves. Maybe that is totally normal, but not what I was expecting. The bean soup was amazing, delicious. Ordering was a bit difficult and took a bit too long and the prices of the trays changed several times while ordering. But she did give me the quarter tray of beans for only $20 so that was nice. The restaurant could use a good cleaning. For the price I would go somewhere else.

I ordered egusi with fish. I specifically told them I wanted no tripe in it, and they said there's already no tripe in it. Why, then, when I got home did I find multiple flabby, nightmare-inducing slabs of tripe in my egusi???? I had to dig that and other mystery pieces of meat out before I could eat. The fish was hard and dry, clearly overcooked. The egusi base was decent but very greasy. The fufu looked and tasted recycled. The price is even higher than others in the area who actually know how to cook it.

Jollof rice with goat and plantains. Delicious and spicy! We came at 12:30, 15 minute wait. Awesome. For the money, it was a lot of food.

The food is real tasty and mainly Nigerian based dishes, but I recommend calling ahead of time because most meals take at least 20 minutes to prepare.

This place is fantastic. The slappy special sandwich is some of the best barbecue I've ever had. I've been a few times now, and each time it was just fantastic

Our first time trying African cuisine and Mamma B's did us right. I had the goat stew and rice. Love it!!!!People were very friendly. We came in while they were doing a big order and it took some time for our food to come out, but we will go back again. Thank you!!!
