AMAZING FOOD! It's very rare that you find a restaurant that shares both mexican and salvadoran cuisine that tastes very very good!! the fajita taco is probably the most basic taco in mexican cuisine but this fajita was really juicy and very well seasoned! the fried plantain was absolutely delicious paired with some suculant refried beans and salvadoran crema! Recommend this place.

Stopped in during an uber ride and I'm so glad I did. The short story is that the food is authentic and excellent. The juevos rancheros (i think that's what they were) were cooked a perfect over-easy, just like I ordered covered in fresh salsa which was delicious without being at all watery. Spice level was mild, but I'm sure they'd be able to kick. I don't know what wizardry went on back there, but whatever they did, i was almost licking the plate. I might actually have done so, but there were children present, and it might have set a bad example.Loved every bit of it.

Good taste great ! Portions are soooooooo small. Seems a tad expensive for the small portions .

Wow, what a great little place! To borrow a few descriptive quotes from a fellow yelpers "This place small and unassuming". On another review I saw the phrase "joint", "hole-in-the-wall", "intimate", "mom & pop" and "quaint" were used. To me it's more like a store/restaurant/hang-out. But matter how you describe this place, the bottom line is..........food is spectacular! I was greeted as soon as I walked in ( the employees were super nice) then you kind of mosey around to the other side where the food is served and pick a place to sit where are you peruse the menu. While it may be true that the menu isn't vast, you can't go wrong with the fresh Authentic Salvadorian dishes that this family prepares for you. In my opinion they have the best Papuans (corn bean & rice) in the DFW metroplex. You should also try the Tamales de Elote and the Horchata and the tacos and the chicken tamales, and the quesadillas, oh and their yuca was yummy......Heck, even the tortillas were made fresh, so it's worth the short wait for such goodness. AND the price is very reasonable for all the food you get on your plate. So the next you have that gnawing deep down in your belly, (you know the one) the one that DEMANDS some authentic Salvadorian and Mexican made from old family recipes and you don't know where to go. I would suggest you feed the gnawing belly at Tienda-y-Lili's Restaurant. You and your belly will be glad you did! Three Stars Happy Eating Y'all!

Small and unassuming place. It's a store and a restaurant so the cashier was also our waitress. She was so sweet and the food was out of this world. I had a seafood creamy soup (I can't remember what it's called) and papusas and both were great. Would definitely recommend.

I come here every time I visit Grand Prairie. The food is extremely delicious. I swear the first time I had food I thought I was dreaming. The tacos are my favorite thing on the menu but everything I've tried is delicious. Great hole in the wall joint in Grand Prairie.
