Finally tried this place since I'm always on the hunt for good catfish. It was an hour wait which isn't bad for fresh hot food. Food was seasoned great, but I was disappointed that you can tell it was time to change the grease for the catfish. I'll give this place another try on a different day.

Omg the Salmon Philly was soooooo good!! I was skeptical at first because not everybody seasons their salmon, but It was seasoned to PERFECTIONNNNNNN!!!!! Will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Ok so like everyone else we came cause the food looks good on IG. We get here they didn’t open until 12 instead of 11. Now to the food1. Wings was hard not good at all2. Fried fish was too fishy3. Shrimp was good but saltyOverall I feel like they needed a older person cooking to show the weekend crew how to do it. First time and last, I was trying out a black owned business.

When I first found out this place was located in the back of a convenience store, I was giving the side eye. My sister said they had really good food, so I was willing to check them out. I had the Salmon Philly and seasoned fries. It was absolutely delicious! I came with a group, so we sampled each other's food. The wangz were the bomb and so was the catfish! I didn't get to sample the turkey leg, but I saw it was falling off the bone so I know it was good! The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back again!

First time here. We were greeted when we walked in. I been seeing the post on Instagram and been wanting to try the passion platter but the lady insisted on the Soulful Sunday menu. I got the 2 piece catfish, mac n cheese, green and corn bread. The greens have turkey in them. And my sister got the same but with seafood dressing and mac n cheese. Everything tasted good and was seasoned well. Everything was hot. The mac n cheese was cold. I might go back again to try the passion platter.
Man it was worth the 45 minute wait. Orders are made then. Nothing pre cooked. Everything we had was delicious and have already recommended friends to go.

I was disappointed ? I've been following this spot on via Instagram since they opened. So Saturday, I decided to check them out. They advertised that they opened up for service at 11am....I made it there at 10:55am (drove from a distance) and they didn't open until 11:47am. After that, I waited 35 minutes to receive my food. Speaking of their food... when I made it there 5 minutes early, it was a young lady out in the waiting area cleaning and updating their menu sign. She was friendly and I asked her about their food and she told me that they serve everything on the menu DAILY....also this illustrates this on their website too. After I stood in line 20 minutes to order....I asked for their Turkey Leg....I was told they don't have it...then I asked for Strawberry Crumb Cake....I was told they don't have it....I asked for Wings and was told the same thing.....So I settled for two Philly Cheesestakes that wasn't too impressive...the sandwich wasn't worth my drive or time.... I wss very disappointed because I was expecting more.....overall experience and food quality I give it a grade of a D+

I’ve seen this cafe on instagram and had to try it. I had the Salmon philly and my husband had the steak philly. It was delicious, seasoned to perfection in every bite . The fries were cajun , ranch .and sweet heat , I’ve never had any fries like them . The salmon and the steak was seasoned well and cooked to perfection for a sandwich. I could have had a bit more cheese on mine. The nana pudding was 8/10 . It is located in the back of a convenience store with seating for about 8 people if you decide to eat there. I give this food a 9/10 on the flavor scale and presentation of food. It is a true mom & pop spot . I highly recommend and will be back on Thursday or Friday for the Turkey Legs.

Well my husband and I were scrolling through social media and he brought to my attention the food he always sees on his page… so we headed out to Grand Prairie to peep the scenery, we order the fried fish and shrimp … the food was bussin it was a little spicy for the kids but A1 for me ! We gave it a 4 only because I think some kind of toast or roll would of did it for me ! Great place
