The restaurant is under new management and it shows. New menu, new decor, and better service. The food is amazing. I has some of the freshest calamari I have had this far away from the coast. It is worth a new look.

Food was not good and cooked chicken came out sour. Both my wife and I got the same thing and both chicken was sour. We sent it back and made sure to get up the food we ate. Someone needs to check out their food to see if it is spoiled. We went there because we have been going for 20+ years and did not know it had been sold. We thought we would try it out but sadly we will not be going back here. Used to be our favorite Italian restaurant since I was a kid. But now prices are super high and I had to make myself throw up the food after leaving to make sure I didnt get sick makes me not going to give it another chance. I have never been served cooked chicken that had a sour smell. On top of that the dough wasnt even cooked all the way in our calzone.

We came for lunch and were amazing. Great service and food! We thought the prices were very affordable and the portions were a good size.

Small place, but was able to handle our group of 30. Only one waitress, and one cook, but the food was very good!!! It was also surprisingly quick, and given the situation, I was expecting it to take much longer.

Thank you to the nice young lady who let me step inside today to wait for my Uber. My ears would not have made it thru 5 more mins outside in the bitter cold. Will come back tomorrow and check out the food and hopefully watch the Cowboy game. Thanks! -Bear

My daughter came home from college and wanted Amores. This use to be our favorite place to eat Italian food. We went this past Friday the 7th at 6 pm thinking we would get ahead of the crowds and have less of a wait time for our food. Needless to say we were very disappointed with the NEW AMORES. Some of the old favorites were not on the menu, the wait to get our salads was close to 30 minutes and the food was near the same amount of time after the salads. There was maybe another 10 people in the place besides our party of 10. Waiting for food is not an issue if the food is worth the increased price. The food was over sauced and noodles were cold over most our dishes. The lasagna was hot on the edges but cold in the middle. We decided not to send anything back as we have already waited over an hour for our food except for one child’s plate that was too cold for her to eat. They seemed under staffed and only half the food was eaten by our family. My bill alone was 100 for 5 entrees of nothing special: spaghetti with mushrooms, 2 tortellini a chicken Parmesan and some kind of shrimp pasta that was Luke warm. The only thing that was hot was my Chicken Parm because it came out last. Needless to say we will have to find a new Italian place which really saddens me as it is no where even close to the same as before.

Best pizza and pasta in Grapevine. I love their lunch specials. The staff is so attentive and gives great customer service. Love this family owned local gem

Didn't look like the 5 star restaurant it is from the outside. But my Mom had heard about them from several coworkers, so we had an extended family dinner there one evening. They. Are. Phenomenal! The service is top notch. Not too pushy, not inattentive, but just right. Drinks never empty, bread baskets always hot & full, and the food was very hot & fresh. Like, the WHOLE table of 12 entrées were fresh, like they were all prepared together and never sat under a heat lamp. The owners came over to speak with us and introduce themselves. I'm not sure if it is still BYOW, but I loved that I could bring in my own wine. I've placed Amore's on a pedestal, and there they will stay. Definitely a one-of-a-kind experience, and will always be a special place for my family.

Went here tonight with some friend. The food was good. Albeit they were a little discombobulated due to their head chef calling off sick tonight. But the owner was very kind and did a great job of taking good care of us while we were there. If I am ever in the area, I would happily go back and try it again.

Amores is a great little Italian joint that is not a chain and the food is super tasty.

We had dinner here just before Christmas... They were short-staffed, so food took a little while, but they made sure to bring the bread and drinks immediately and refill frequently while we were waiting. The food was great, everybody loved their meals, even the picky kids. They raved about the cheese pizza as one of the best ones they've had. The desserts were delicious, too, and we had a few different ones - the lemon cake, the cheesecake, and the tiramisu.

We went here for our daughter's 5th birthday because she loves pasta and it's halfway between our house and her grandparents. We were so impressed with the owner, Chris, and our waiter, Hudson! We walked in and they immediately greeted our daughter with Happy Birthday and made her feel so special! They handled our large 17 person party so well. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional!

Just went to Amore’s for the first time and I can without a doubt say I will be back, and I will be back frequently. The staff was extremely friendly and the owner was a great guy. Everyone offered suggestions and had an answer for every dish on the menu. The restaurant it self was very clean and appeared to be well taken care of. If it hadn’t been a Tuesday night, I probably would’ve stayed for a few hours. The food was phenomenal, I got a slice of Buffalo Chicken Pizza and the Lobster Ravioli. I ordered the food to-go but ate my salad and bread while waiting for my order. The bread was absolutely phenomenal and the house salad dressing is unreal, I highly recommend dipping your bread into the dressing. I finally got my food and they including two extra orders of rolls. The Lobster Ravioli was unreal, flavor amazing, cooked perfectly, the only thing I ask for is if they can remove the tails from the shrimp, no big deal, just makes it a little easier. The “slice” of Buffalo Chicken Pizza was pretty much a personal pizza big enough for 2. The flavor was phenomenal and the bread was delicious.Over 10/10. Along with the awesome staff, incredible food and spotless restaurant, it’s BYOB. If you are looking for a nice hangout spot where you can enjoy a great meal with friends or family, this is the place to go. I’ll be back and I can’t wait.

Absolutely amazing! It's been under new ownership and newly renovated. Clean! Incredible pizza. The food is fresh, tastes amazing and their service is a priority. You won't find a better Italian restaurant in Texas. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.
