Skip Amore's pasta and Pizza in Grapevine. Buffalo chicken pizza stated: grilled chicken, buffalo cream sauce, mozzarella, and ranch. Also, I ordered extra cheese. There is no sauce underneath the cheese and the crust has no flavor, but cheap tasting. I tried calling this establishment over 20 times and was hung up on with no answer. This establishment has been around for a long time, changed ownership at least once, but the quality is not there for the pizza anymore.

My partner and I tried this place on a whim after a long day, and we are so glad we did. This place is amazing.To start, the food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. It is genuinely some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The garlic knots they set as table bread were so dense and flavorful they could be an appetizer all on their own. The red sauce was phenomenal. We got entrees and each came with a house salad as a starter and the Red Wine Vinegar dressing was legitimately AMAZING. It was phenomenal. We got fried ravioli as our starter and they were so good. The ricotta was perfectly seasoned and the ravioli were fried to perfection with awesome breading with herbs and Parmesan cheese. Our entrees came out and they were mountains of food and they were absolutely delicious. I got chicken parmigiana and my partner got tortellini in vodka sauce. We also got a calzone to split and didn’t expect it to be as huge and delicious as it was. The sauce is all house made, the chicken parmigiana was quite frankly the best I’ve ever had, and the calzone was stuffed to bursting with ricotta and was phenomenal. Everything was delicious and in heaping portions that left even me, a notorious black hole, tapping out. We had plenty of leftovers to take home to enjoy later. We got cannoli for dessert and while I have never liked cannoli, I’ve also never had a cannoli like THAT. It was just as surprising and wonderful as everything else. 5/5 stars for food and quality.Our service was top-notch. Our server was perfectly attentive, honest, funny, and very kind to us. I wish I had caught her name but she was wonderful. Our food was out relatively quickly, but with the courses, conversation, and her attentiveness it felt fast as you’d like it to be. Never had to ask for anything, never had to call her over but not in a disturbing or overbearing way. She also told great stories and had recommendations that were perfect. 5/5Atmosphere is to be expected from a hole in the wall restaurant, in my opinion you aren’t coming for the looks, you’re coming to get FED. It’s definitely more working-class than bougie, and that’s more our style. Perfect for after work or as a day trip, but maybe not for prom night. Family restaurant through and through. 5/5We had such good food and experience that even though we’re not in Grapevine ourselves, my partner and I have agreed that any time we have to go to Dallas it’s worth stopping in Grapevine just for the food and service. We absolutely will be returning. I normally HATE writing reviews, but this place was truly worth it. I cannot sing its praises enough. If you’re in Grapevine or just traveling through, it’s worth the stop.

Lisa was one of the nicest people I've ever met! I was given great service, the bread they gave at the beginning was REALLY good, and the food was good to! The place is very charming and friendly, I highly recommend this place to anyone who comes to grapevine!(The cannolis are really good too☺️)

This is the best Italian food restaurant in Dallas Fort Worth. Period! And for further proof of my statement, there’s a couple Italian guys with heavy New York accents at a table across from me. If anyone knows good Italian food, it’s a couple Italian New Yorkers! My waitress was Lisa and she is AMAZING! She’s kind and courteous and she made me feel at home. Amores serves the staple foods but the flavor jumps off the plate! I’m impressed with the food, the family feel and atmosphere of Amores! Start with the calamari, it’s buttery smooth. Coupled with a sweet and sour sauce to dip it in… THANK ME LATER!

Delicious! The garlic knots and marinara sauce they give the taste were sooo delicious and the food was high quality! I will definitely be coming here more often. We brought our toddler with us and the server was very kind to her, too! And the canolli for dessert was phenomenal. I was very excited about it because not many places serve it!
This is a hidden gem! The pizza is amazing! A must try. The customer service I received from Lisa was exceptional and I don’t give 5 stars easily. This was my first experience at Amore’s. Thank you Lisa and the chef for an experience I will never forget. See you again soon!

In the middle of the afternoon this Friday (our arrival was 4:00pm-ish) our party of 25+ flooded Amore’s. Eight separate tickets for a great waitress and the owner who both hustled through the entire stay to ensure we were well served and satisfied. Fair prices, generous servings and great food!! We will be back!!Kid-friendliness: Allowed kids to sit together at a separate table. Thin, crispy pizza was a favorite!
We work with many restaurants in DFW. Amore’s in Grapevine is one that offers a very special ingredient that makes each menu item wonderful… that ingredient is PASSION! “You have to love what you do”, stated the owner, to keep up and going in the restaurant industry. I don’t have any photos but we came across this place right after service. Really wanted pizza and came to the right place. The pizza was amazing., we ordered half supreme and half Margherita. The thin crust amazing. We also ordered the Abraham Special - the sauce was amazing. We had to order the chocolate cake with chocolate drizzle. Very yummy. Definitely coming back.

Honestly the food could have been gross & it still would have been a pleasant experience. LUCKILY, the food was fire! salad was fresh, alfredo pizza was tasty, and mardi gras pasta was approved by a Louisiana native. We dont come to grapevine often, and after a long day of car shopping we just needed some warmth. We got that and more with Kenny. Wonderful first impression, we'll be back
