Love this place! They don't take reservations unless you are 5 or more in your party. We were only 2, but it was only a 10 minute wait.We got the chicken chimichanga and the steak and relleno. We also had two Mezcal drinks 1) Jardin de Oaxaca and 2)the El guabanero. Both were delicious! We will be back!

One of the top restaurants in DFW. The food is amazing. You must order the Tableside Guacamole that they really do make fresh at your table. The bacon they add into the guacamole must be the secret ingredient. Everything we tried on the menu was excellent. The outdoor patio is a great spot to hang out and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend the various fajitas. No one is trying to do better than your abuela.But the food is the type of Mexican you would get at a nice restaurant in Mexico.They also have great fusion foods from Texas and new mexico.They have the largest selection of tequilas I've seen in DFW. This means that their margaritas are awesome. Their house is better than most places top shelf. And their top shelf? Well depends how high up the shelf you want to go, but they are all delicious.

Unbelievable service and food. We came in from out of town and was drawn to the blue corn tortillas on a picture so decided to give it a try. Soon as we were seated we were greeted by our waited and immediately felt like we knew him for so long from how hospitable he was. We ordered our drinks and had trouble choosing from the different entrees they have and my wife, my son, and I were all amazed by how great the food was. The restrooms were really nice, the atmosphere was relaxing, the music was perfect, and the only reason for the 4 stars is because of the price of the food. The price was decent but I do wish they served a bit more of meat with the blue tortillas plate and for the plate my wife ordered. She ordered the fajitas and we both were still hungry afterwards. We ended up ordering sopapillas a lá mode and were again, impressed by it. Will be back if in the area again.

My hubby and I have enjoyed sitting at the bar here…they have a great selections of margaritas, the chips and salsa are delicious and Daniel has taken great care of us! He’s super busy on a Friday at 7, but somehow helps us choose our meal and is always ready if we need him. Cheers to Daniel and Mi Dia from Scratch!

It was alright. We had a large group, and it was super crowded so service wasn't that great. I ordered a simple quesadilla, and it was tasty, but super greasy. The queso was awesome and the chips were on point. Overall it was pretty good!Vegetarian options: Basically a couple weird vegetable dishes and a quesadilla. I think you could modify other dishes to exclude meat, but their up-front options are not appetizing at least to meKid-friendliness: Don't bring kids, it's very cramped. Outside would probably be alright.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and exceptional service. The menu was unique, and making a choice was difficult. The scratch-made meals came out in a flash! The salsa was spicy and satisfying. You have to try the churro dessert. It was surprisingly delicious. This would have been a perfect five star meal, except that there was a fruit fly on my dinner plate. That won't deter me from returning to try again another time.

Mi DIA served up the best Mexican dinner I have ever had. Fantastic flavors and creative menu items. The table side guacamole cart was fantastic too. Our waitress was funny and attentive. We had three times as much food at 1/2 the cost of our previous day’s dinner at Terry Blacks and this tasted twice as good too.
