We went to hear live music Labor Day weekend. The music (Andrew Sullivan!) was amazing as was the entire evening. The food and drinks were fantastic. We loved the jalapeño poppers! Amazing atmosphere and you can't beat the location at Lake Grapevine. Looking forward to the next trip and hope to see more music!

The Rocking S is new, clean and air conditioned. It is a haven from the heat wave. There is a view of the lake from the patio deck outside.Parking: The parking lot is new, well-maintained and has no potholes!

We had a boat party then came here afterwards. The staff was attentive and the food and drinks were great! You can sit inside or outside which I loved and they have rails so the kids won’t run into the water. Nice upgrade to our area!

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Nobody had food come out at the same time. Took forever to get our food. I definitely wouldn’t recommend.

We were the only two for lunch at noon on Friday. The weather was perfect, breeze from the patio was beautiful. Moon was our attentive server. Very limited menu, but I chose the Philly cheesesteak and my dining partner chose a salad with fried shrimp that looked unbelievable! Both were excellent! Best Philly cheesesteak sandwich I have had in years! And my dining partner confirmed that her shrimp were also terrific. The calmness of the Lakeview and Marina was perfect for us, and because we were the only two there... We could actually hear each other speak! Haha. Will definitely come back some evening to see how the ambiance is after dark.

Thought 3rd time would be the charm, it wasn’t. “Lake food” should be short for give up food is have had better food as leftovers out of a microwave. It’s like they don’t even try, they have a captive audience of drunk boaters and that is who they cater to. I would rather have a convenience store burrito at a gas station in the country that eat here again.
