“Picked up an order and it was decent. The chicken salad on a croissant was tasty. The homemade chips and artichoke dip were great. The shrimp gumbo lacked flavor and didn't have anything in it except a couple of shrimp. The prime rib sandwich didn't include any au jus.“

“I actually went to the central mall location a couple times never went to the main location. The food is always fresh to order. Very tasty. Love the stuffed shrimp and fish onion rings are great and for some reason this is the only restaurant that I eat their tartar sauce I'm not a fan of tartar but if it looks good eat it and it just looks and taste good so cuddos to them“

“Last week I tried this place for the first time. Our servers name was Bree. Bree was kind, not rushed, helpful, sincere, and polite. Her service made the experience better and the place was already nice. The food was yummy, I had the fried shrimp. Delicious - tasted like shrimp. What's that mean? Most the time at other places I simply taste breading - but not the shrimpies I had at Walk-On's, those are fantastic.Thanks again, Bree!“

“This is the neatest place; with the nicest guys and an iconic oldie type atmosphere!!! Mike makes the world's best brownie!!! I even nicknamed him and his cohort last night Mike N Ike!!! Which candy, they have too, LOL!!! We'll be back!!!“

“Nice brewery in downtown Nederland. The flight of beer was not a bad price either! $15 to sample 4 beers. The beer- the red ale was good, the German pilsner (frau nau) was very hoppy/IPA- After living in Germany 11yrs I was a bit sad to have that taste, not a traditional pils. There cream coffee one (avenue B) was good. The Amadeus Lager Vienna was also hoppy/IPA, not as bad as the Frau Nau. But not a typical lager from Austria. Overall, good experience, nice staff, clean and fair prices. If I go bad, I'd try different beers to see if I find one I like.“

The staff Arlette, Stephanie, Vanessa, Brenda and Alejandra are very friendly, always has a smile, the food is always hot and you get a very good size portion, the owner Fidel walks up to every table and greets you with a smile and shakes your hand. If you haven’t tried Juanita’s Country Kitchen you need too. You will not be disappointed.“

“Homestyle meals which is always great. I found the food to lack a little flavor, but it’s hard to find a good home style meal so I’ll be back. Quick service in a casual diner. Nothing fancy but good place to grab a solid lunch. Portion sizes are large . Parking lot is large and we had no wait at 11:20 on a weekday.“

“Their food is wonderful!My kids enjoy the chicken tenders with cheese fries!I personally love the fried egg burger on jalapeño bun with novo chips dipped in ranch!There is plenty of seating, but they over a drive through for call ahead orders and they are always speedy.Healthy options are available as well.“

“I'm very surprised that yall don't have any reviews on here and I bet that yall didn't know that yall was visited tonight by some food critics but my wife and I came to yall from Beaumont thru the heavy storms and I'm glad that we did after I got off of work! lol! Well I'm going to start that $15 for 2 double bacon hamburgers with fries and 2 big quesadillas 1 was chicken and 1 brisket and 2 more fries and then we also got a amazing strawberry lemonade,strawberry shake and a snickers frappe (drinks are $4 a piece but absolutely worth it) and the food takes you to flavor town that brisket has a great smoke to it without overbearing the meat. The burgers were cooked good also. We will definitely be back to try them BBQ plates and the fried fish lol. If anyone is passing thru and this place is open stop here you will love it!“

“It's a Waffle House. It was clean, the staff was nice and helpful and the food tasted the way it should. The only complaint I could possibly make is that the eggs they had looked like extra tiny size and 4 scrambled eggs on my plate looked a lot like the 2 I usually get, lol.“
