I stop here with my kiddos every time we go down to our deer lease. The bbq is amazing. The staff is awesome. The atmosphere is laid back. They have amazing stuffed baked potatoes and pulled pork sandwiches.
Sweet couple ready to retire and sell the property. If you are looking for an established classic BBQ palace you should stop by. The brick pits with their seasoned walls are hard to duplicate. The amazing aroma will make your tummy growl while you wait to be served on the cafeteria style food trays and waxed paper. The Smoke Shack has excellent brisket! We are from TX so we know good brisket. We stopped there for a to go lunch on our trip. We each had a brisket sandwich and they were the best we've had in a long time. Great service, friendly and excellent service. We will definitely be stopping there again.
