Why have I done this to myself? Why have I discovered an amazing German food restaurant mere minutes from my house with schnitzels the size of my head that are so good I have no choice but to eat the entire thing in one sitting no matter how loudly the sound of my pant’s stretching waistband becomes? Delicious food and super friendly service!The jagerschnizel, green beans, and cabbage salad that was my lunch were all fantastic. The cabbage salad might have given me a momentary glimpse of the sublime inner workings of the universe. Absolutely delicious!

Very peaceful atmosphere. The food is authentic and deserves the highest rating. Of all the German restaurants I’ve tried in Texas, this is the best. The service is par-none; our hostess was kind, patient, and everyone speaks German.

Food was fair. Bell pepper gravy schnitzel was tough and sauce tasted like ketchup. Green beans were sweet. Pass and go to Opa's.
Every time I have been here, the food was so delicious. The Black Forest Cake is so good! Generous portions. I especially like the Jagerschnitzel and Spaetzle and Gurkensalat.

The first time we went, amazing food and service. Very impressed with everything. However the second and now the third time we tried going, they weren’t open until 4 pm and on their website it said open from 11am to 8pm , just confused honestly. Drove from copperas cove, very disappointed. If you updated your hours, please post them on google.

We went as a family of 6 and everything was delicious! I had the jagerschnitzel and it was so crispy even with all the gravy! The home fries was delicious and the german potato salad was different than how I'm used to it made but still good balanced taste with my meal. 1 waitress and 1 cook our food arrived pretty quickly and all correct and we arrived around 1120.

Highly recommend this place. I haven't had good German food in years. This was the best jaegerschnitzel. The gravy and seasoning on it was amazing.Waitress was friendly and an absolute delight.

Large restaurant to accommodate big or small groups, food was hot, fresh, and yummy! Staff and chef were very hard working to make sure everyone was happy. Definitely took home a to go bag! Would recommend to anyone!
