My husband Jim was shopping at Morgan HEB about 10:30 Memorial Day morning. The store manager came over the intercom and asked everyone to stop in place for a moment of silence. He then specifically told all the HEB Partners to stop what they were doing. He played Taps over the intercom. It was total silence in the store. After it ended every clapped in appreciation. stop by the deli the ladies there are knowledgeable on their cuts and cheeses. thank you Ramona Garza for filling me in on how you can slice me 1 or 2 pieces of your boneless rotisserie chicken instead of buying it all for one person.
