The food here was by far the worst food I have had to date in the valley! The service was ok.

So we get to the restaurant, order drinks, after about a 5-10min wait for help. The drinks come and the waitress accidentally spills Strawberry tea all over my daughters lap. The owner or manager walked by multiple times and didnt even try and make up for it. We begin ordering food and notice the waitress isnt even writing down our orders, so we think she must be a "professional". After waiting 20-30mins for food to arrive, I notice my food is not what I ordered. The waitress got the order wrong....Once again no offer to make up for it just an apology. I notice we never received our miso soups so I ask and the waitress says, "Oh, Im sorry I forgot", she proceeds to bring cold miso soups to our table and didnt forget to leave her thumb in the bowls as she placed them on the table, YUMMY...at this point im like wow. Again no offer to make up for this terrible service. We get the check and to my surprise the waitress actually had the nerve to try and charge me for the drink she spilled all over my daughter. I play it cool and even give the waitress a tip but at this point, I will NEVER come to this restaurant again. If a manager reads this, take some pride in your restaurant, the only thing holding it together at this point is the sushi and the bar. I will Never return. Our Bill was 120 something dollors after all that, no discounts, terrible service, the owner must not give a damn....

The food was good for the most part, but there was a whole piece of trash in my husbands food. Cooked with the chicken and vegetables. When we kindly told the staff they were like “ oh sorry it’s from the avocados “ neither of our plates had avocado. Then they just brushed it off. We weren’t expecting the meal comped but at least a discount considering there was trash in my husband’s food. The owner took the trash from us so I can’t very well take a picture.It’s overpriced for the food you get and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant aside from TRASH IN THE FOOD is not clean. The table was sticky and the chairs were a death trap even for a person that’s lightweight.As we were leaving I spoke to the owner and this lady had the audacity to say “it happens all the time but it’s ok” not that I was speaking loud but she started to whisper and kind of shoo me off in attempt for the customers next to us not to here. I let her know I was going to writing a review to which she replied “oh no that’s not necessary I’ll give you a discount if you don’t.” We had already paid, and she was like” I’ll give you 10% for next time” I let her know there would NOT be a next time to which she said “that’s ok too.” I let her know this was a lack in service and that I was very upset to have this lack of response. We went back and forth over whether or not it was trash and if I should leave a review then the waitress jumped into the conversation. At which point I let her know I would leave a review and walked out of the restaurant.

We went to Hime on Friday night and it was absolutely amazing. We started with egg rolls which were cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. Our group of 6 all tried something different and everyone loved their meals. When we looked online ahead of time for the menu we could not find the full menu, but once you are there , there is an abundance of choices - something for everyone! Someone in our group had a soy allergy and they accommodated her no problem. Service was also great. We will be back!

Friendly staff. However I ordered a large miso soup to go thinking it would have the veggie leaves and tofu pieces like other restaurants make it however I was only served liquid. Nothing in it. Just fyi if you like miso soup. Don’t get it here.

This is what you get for $21.41 dollars. You make the call. Got there and let waitress know I was ordering take out. She took my order (salmon roll and Gyosa) and charged me. She let me know that my card did not go through. I told her i had just used it but regardless gave her my secon bank card. Again the same thing. Finally gave her my Amex and still did not pass. She stated “It has been working fine all day so it cannot be our machine. I told her it was so she then tried the macine at the bar with the original bank card and it passed. No apologies what so ever or even a thank you. Food was average but not great. Included pick for you to see what you get for the price. 6 pcs on the roll? Really??

Came here with my boyfriend for a date exploring the Harlingen area. The employees were really nice and welcoming……. BUT THE FOOD was definitely NOT WORTH THE PRICE. The calamari was all veggies and the sea food Diablo had like 2 shrimps and that was it it was all noodles and veggies. Sushi was good but the amount you get for the buck was questionable. While the food came out one of the employees sniffed the plate???All in all never eating here again. (Sushi was a saving grace)

The absolute worst quality food every time I've gone. I appreciate that the waiter that served me was being brutally honest about warning me about what foods to stay away from ordering because the cook either "cut the portion sizes down during lunch" or what customers had bad feedback on. That was a red flag but sadly I was with a party of other people and couldn't leave. Their fried tempura has all the flavor of a piece of paper, and their yakisoba noodles were overcooked to the point of mush. Vegetables in the yakisoba were hard AF and no flavors in the sauce that came with it. If you order a dish with veggies expect 90% veggies and 10% whatever protein you picked. LISTEN TO ME PLEASE. you're waaaaay better off going to Kohnami 100%.

First impression of this place amazing. I felt I was welcomed immediately after I stepped in and was offered something to drink by Ray. The food was delicious and quite comforting. Overall the atmosphere felt awesome. I will definitely be back.
