I had the barbacoa taco, very generous helping on a perfect flour tortilla. The bowl of menudo was loaded with with tripe! Oatmeal served with breakfast got things rolling while waiting for the rest of the meal. My waitress was quick with getting me started on my,culinary journey here at pollita’s kitchen.

Pretty good. They give u a free cup of oatmeal while u wait.As I sit there I can hear a lady in the back talking about rats tho. Probably not a good idea as I wait for my food ?But the service was good on the part of my waitress.Little pricey for breakfast. About 15 dollars. Tea alone is 3 bucks.

It is a very good, cute, small restaurant! The food was very delicious and came out at the perfect temperature! I ordered an egg and cheese taco on corn tortillas and I was delighted to find the tortillas handmade! The tortillas were so fresh! I am also very pleased with the attention the staff gave me. I will be recommending this place to friends and family!

Decided to try a new place instead of Blanquitas in harlingen and Blankquitas in San benito! BOY IM GLAD I DID! THIS LITTLE PLACE SERVES HOMEMADE CORN AND FLOUR TORTILLAS. The menudeo is tasty, the food was hot and savory and AUTHENTIC! THIS WILL BE MY GO TO PLACE FOR BREAKFAST AND PROBALLY LUNCH and it's cheaper and bigger portions!The quaint atmosphere decorated with Halloween was welcoming and the service was excellent even with a full house.

The waitress and the food was good.but the manager came and told us that we had been in the restaurant too long ...there were no other ppl waiting for us to get kicked out like ...don't worry we won't go back to eat... the manager or owners like you don't make it ...but I don't wish bad on no one just I hope u can adjust your attitude and put a sign if want ppl sit longer then after your done
