Went on a Saturday night around 9pm. I met up with some friends and had a few drinks. We were outside, laughing and having a great time. We had a prickleback, for 5 people that's 10 shot glasses. To some it may look like we took 2 shots each but that wasn't the case. I asked for another round of shots around midnight, bartender said ok, left and never came back. I go to the bar 20 mins later to see what's going on and try to reorder my shots i never got. I was ignored for a fair amount of time until finally the bartender came up and cut me off. I get it. Sometimes you have to cut people off, however i was not drunk. My real issue here is that instead of cutting me off when i first asked for some shots, i had to wait around and get ignored for probably a total of 35 mins before someone had the guts to let me know I'm cut off. No one offered me water or suggested i order food. I was pretty unhappy, and painfully sober by this point. ended up cutting the night short. While on my way out, i see a guy being carried out by his friends. Makes me wonder exactly why i was cut off. Bartenders may even have a bias when cutting people off.

This Woodrow’s specifically has a very chill ambiance, and our server Skylar was super attentive and carried amazing conversations, really brought a brighter mood to a Wednesday night. Highly recommend it

I did slip and fall and hurt my knee. They took care of it right of way. Didn’t make a big deal about. But that’s why they get 5 stars. They took care of it. Didn’t ask if I was ok. But I’m good!

If you come before 9 the service is a bit different. Most are getting ready for the surge later .So head to the bar because they will not be serving you much at the table. We ordered food and had a few drinks for a steal. Later we got to enjoy the fire pit.Its a huge venue with cool activities. They have turtle races and always have the games playing.

Me and my nephew went and it was a bummer. Took forever to get a drink with 7-8 female bartenders. When we got drinks I swear they were watered down. At one point I ordered a double Tito’s and it was half water. I know vodka, I’m in my 50’s. Will not go

The food was good. Onion rings were a bit too salty. Minus the salt, they were good.

*Stay with me*... Santa brought my 3rd grandchild to my daughter on Christmas Day and that's why I'm in San Antonio. Before I left Cleveland I knew that I'd be here for the Browns/Bengals game thanks to the Alamo Area Brown's Backers. Well, I couldn't have imagined a better place to be!!! Being from Cleveland the weather was wonderful for early January!! But the outdoor area of this DOG FRIENDLY bar and restaurant was off the hook, as the kids say ( I know they don't really say that),! The service was impeccable, prices were great, and unfortunately I can't comment about the food because I didn't eat anything. But everyone who was eating seemed to be enjoying it! My only regret was that I didn't have my puppy (90 lb. Blu Nose Pitbull) with me!! Great place for dog people!!!

I have to be upfront, I think Little Woodrow's is the kind of place where you get what you give, and that is fair. From reading other reviews, I can understand how people might grow frustrated with the service, but having come around quite a bit I don't find it all that off-putting. For starters, if you show up early the staff are working on getting ready for the impending crowds which I don't fault them for. If they are able to keep up with our orders while preparing for the day let them! You typically do have to ask if you would like a server attached to your table but again, that is not a hassle to do. Each time I have gone to Woodrow's it is for football, and typically an all day affair. We usually luck out and are able to keep the same server all day and I promise if you treat them with basic human kindness you are going to get great service! We always seem to get the best of the best, but I would like to give a shout out specifically to Sarah who went above and beyond expectations several weeks ago for our particularly large and spirited group. She did a killer job taking care of us all night and did it with a fantastic attitude! Onto the food...it's not good! But I don't think that is the point of their menu, I think the point is to get filling and greasy calories into people who have been drinking all day. And for that, it gets the job done. All in all, if you are looking for a place to sit outside, enjoy a beer, some sports, and good conversation, Woodrow's is the place to do it. Just have some patience and be nice, it's a place to relax for a reason.
