I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty my food was! We are traveling thru the area and decided to eat here. I got a new dish called Acapulco Chicken which comes with a mango-avocado salsa, lime flavored rice and a small salad. Oh it was so good! And not heavy like so much Mexican food is. The salsa worth the chips was also very good. Hubby got 3 beef tacos with Spanish rice and beans and he liked that too. Definitely a great place to eat!
Seriously the best Mexican food in Hondo. Service is great, wait times are short, incredible enchiladas and queso. The only place you can order REAL guacamole.Kid-friendliness: The kids quesadilla is good, I wish they had more variety for kids, wither a crispy taco plate or enchilada plate.

Nice! Two parking lots, easy access. Friendly greeting, quickly seated, nice decor. Nothing fancy here, just good food! The chips were so good and the freshly made salsa was even better. His beef quesadilla was good-sized with sides of beans and rice and homemade guacamole (so good!).
