I love the Akashi chain of restaurants. In the Houston area, however, this may be the worst one. Most limited lunch menu, dirty bathrooms, mediocre service, and just overall very aged interior. The food, and drinks however, were very good and up to the standard I expected.

The general tso chicken was all breading and almost no chicken (although one of the pieces was hollowed out). The House Wonton soup was tasteless and the broth seemed unseasoned and far from hearty. Really wanted to like it.

Not much of a sushi eater. The egg rolls and cream cheese puffs were good. Everyone at my table ordered sushi ? I was the only person who didn't. I ordered the General Tso chicken. It was ok, but I have to say, it was much better the next day!! I enjoyed it so much!!! Would love to try more dishes from this place!! ?Kid-friendliness: Our kids love sushi, so very kid friendly for us!!

Our take out was subpar. Dropped $75 on a variety of meals and appetizers. I think I have had better food in the food court of a fast food Asian meal. The fried rice and lo mein had a funky taste that can be described as a "cat pee" taste if I imagined that's what it tasted like.Miso soup was "meh". The Mongolian beef was bland and more chewy than beef jerky. We were there when this place opened but it has gone downhill. Won't be back.

The quality has gone down a touch.. the service has gone waaaay down. Untrained waiters who only cook m me to the table to move the dining along. Please train wait staff to check on customers throughout their dining experience.

This place is awful. The person who answered the phone has gotten put order wrong several times. She constantly tries to hurry us off the phone by saying" is that it, is that it". I had to drive all the way back for my missed food and there weren't any apologies or compensation. I let them know that we didn't get a sweet and sour sauce for the chicken and they charged me for it. I asked 3 times was I being charged. Never again!

Not impressed with the food. Calamari I ordered came out stell. The rest of the food was okay enough to eat without complaining. The service was good though
