The only 2 things would be food since it's a hit or miss, but Luigi's is right next door so it's not that big of a deal; and parking, but bad parking you'll deal with literally anywhere in Houson. I literally never regret coming to Axelrad. I visually here with friends, but sometimes I come for an event and even then it's still a pretty good time. Good for dogs, and a kid friendly place during non-nighttime hours. And the events will vary and be pretty good. This is pretty much a Houston staple to go to.Parking: Not great, but parking around the neighborhood is ok for the most part.Kid-friendliness: Better on Sunday and during the day.

Kool place to chill and relax ? live music is always a plus in my book ? parking sucks and they have availability. I'm not sure why they won't open the near spots open to the public ? guess they have their reasons. I'll be back in a few months.

Nice vibes with a very chill environment. This was me and my husband's first time visiting and we were not disappointed. Parking can be a bit confusing but nevertheless it turned out fine just make sure to park in one of their parking lots: there's one adjacent to the building or the other across the street within walking distance. We we didn't eat anything but we enjoyed our drinks indeed. I had the When We Were Plum cocktail; its very refreshing and my hubby had The Devil's Backbone beer which he highly enjoyed. There was no live band today but rather a DJ spinning some good Latin beats. We will be back soon!

Loved this place. The beer was awesome, the vibes were immaculate. Really chill place. I'd love to come back and have a nice beer sitting on the swings again.

It was really nice to go and hang out today! The weather was nice and it had a great atmosphere. We went during their happy hour, which ended around 7, and the staff was patient, plus they recommended great drinks. We ended up getting food from Luigi's in the back, their meatball sub, and lasagna were good! We also tried their mexican pizza and fried Mac and cheese bites. Those were not the best, but it was fun to try. Overall, it's a great place to hang, read a book, drink, and catch up with friends on a nice day.Parking: There's a spot across the street that we were able to park at. I'm not sure if they charge for major events.Kid-friendliness: It's very kid friendly! There's a bunch of room to play, and walk around. I know after a certain hour it's 21 and up.

Great place to listen to music. There are nights with live music. Pizza from next door is great but there are also food trucks.

Always a chill vibe nice place to have outdoor picnic. The mangonada is my go to and when Frank & Richard’s food truck is there count on having the best creole creations in Houston. ???

I’ve been here a handful of times. Always a fun vibe. I love that it’s family/pet friendly and then the crowd changes for the evening time. They always have great entertainment. I’ve never struggled to find parking, but I do make sure to arrive earlier to beat the crowd. This is the kind of place I think about when I think about what makes Houston so awesome.

Definitely an amazing spot to hang out with friends and grab drinks! The atmosphere and people are great. The drinks were tasty and there’s a pizza spot right next to the bar as well as a taco stand inside the open yard area. Plenty of outside seating and hammocks for everyone, we went on a Saturday night and we had plenty of space to sit.
