1 of the best seafood restaurants in the city that happens to serve an amazing burger! So good it's hard to describe actually. They are a hot menu item limited quantity as the they grind the meat fresh daily. This is fresh made to order food & restaurant not fast food. Friendly, family atmosphere. After reading reviews , my family of 3 decided to give this place a try . I am extremely disappointed with the service I experienced on a Saturday at approximately 4:30 PM. My visit was marred by an unacceptable level of inefficiency and disregard for customer satisfaction.My family and I endured an agonizing wait of over one hour before receiving any food. The situation only worsened when we brought this issue to the attention of the staff, and the waiter mentioned it would be an ADDITIONAL 15 min wait . After waiting 10minutes they proceeded to bring out only ONE out of the five items we had ordered. To receive a single dish after an hour-long wait is utterly unacceptable.Regrettably, the situation did not improve, leading us to the decision to leave without waiting any longer for the remainder of our order. It was disheartening to witness similar experiences at neighboring tables, such as the one directly in front of us, where patrons who had arrived earlier than us endured a wait of 1.5 hours for their meals.The level of service we encountered falls far below the standards expected of a reputable establishment like this. Not only did we waste valuable time waiting for our food, but the incomplete order and the lack of proactive resolution from your team left us thoroughly dissatisfied.I urge you to take immediate action to address these issues and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

This place is so nice...the peicevof the food is worth it...I ordered the fish and shrimp and I couldn't eat it all..im a big eater too...to atmosphere was so soothing. Something I needed....nice place for couples...im single but it was so nice...give them a visit. I really enjoyed my visit to Backyard Boil House. It's tucked away on the corner, if you're not looking for it you'll drive past it. We ordered the blackened salmon w/ spinach & grilled shrimp, fried catfish sandwich, & a cup of gumbo. The food was delicious! The gumbo was the star of the evening for me.. roux so dark it will make your ancestors rejoice! They also offer complimentary wine & beer. The place is small but inviting and the service was genuine & kind. Def a place you can visit & fellowship often. Oh, I almost forgot the pralines are great too.
