We were warmly welcomed when we walked in, our cashier ensured our orders were exactly what we wanted, and then we enjoyed a fantastic meal! I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it was the juiciest chicken I've had in a long time! My only regret is not visiting sooner! Above all else, I love Belong's mission! The mission behind Belong Kitchen brought me into the store, but the delicious grab & go options keep me coming back! Need a last minute meal for a family or friend get together? Bible study? New baby meal delivery? Belong has you covered. I just love having them available for unexpected guests or on a busy weeknight. The Mexican corn dip appetizer is a must!! All of the casseroles I've purchased (several different enchiladas) were tasty, but DON'T sleep on their "bake from frozen" confetti sugar cookies! So. GOOD. Portions are VERY generous. I split them in half, prior to freezing.

I love the mission of this happy little restaurant; they provide meaningful employment in a nurturing environment for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We came by on a Saturday morning and enjoyed tasty breakfast tacos with homemade salsa for me and a delicious breakfast sandwich for my husband. We purchased some of their famous homemade cinnamon rolls to go, and they were excellent as well. They also serve fancy coffee drinks and have family size grab and go meals available for takeout. The spot is a little hard to find - if you drive through the parking garage to the back side of the office building where the outdoor seating is, you'll see it. The service was warm and friendly. Definitely worth stopping in for some great food and a great cause.

Do yourself a favor and go check this place out. It is so inspiring to see how much care and hard work the employees put into this restaurant. The food is great, the place is spotlessly clean and the service is incredible. You can also feel good about knowing that you are supporting a place that is committed to proving dignified work to adults with intellectual and developmental differences. They offer large take-away meals, but also have a selection of soups, desserts, etc.

Guys you need to try Belong Kitchen in West Houston! The restaurant is in the heart of Memorial City. Each time I go, I receive great customer service. Their breakfast tacos and homemade cinnamon rolls are so delicious!! They also have daily and weekly specials you should try. The restaurant offers a weekly rotating menu that includes a variety of food and desserts. A few of my many favorites are their Carnitas Enchiladas, King Ranch Casserole, and their Rosemary Crusted Pork Tenderloin. The larger-to-go meals for a family of 4-6 are amazing for the evenings when your kids have soccer or baseball practice, and you don't have time to make dinner. The employees are so welcoming, friendly, and courteous. What's unique about Belong Kitchen is it was started by a mom, Kim Brown, who discovered the lack of employment opportunities available for her daughter, Ellie, and many other teenagers and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, IDD. Belong Kitchen started in 2019, in the backyard of Kim's home, and took off at a rapid speed. After selling out each week of the prepared meals, the team realized they had reached a point where they needed to find a business location which is at 9655 Katy Freeway, Suite 3105, Houston, Texas 77024. On Belong Kitchen's website, it says "We believe God has provided everyone with the capacity to serve and contribute to our community in a meaningful way. We can't wait to see what comes from having a place where everyone Belongs." And that's why it was important to name the restaurant, Belong Kitchen because the vision behind the start of Belong Kitchen was to create a more inclusive and diverse workforce where people with IDD are given the same opportunities as everyone else. The restaurant provides on-the-job training and support to its employees, helping them to build new skills and gain confidence in their abilities. The restaurant is a shining example of how businesses can positively impact their communities by promoting inclusion and diversity.The restaurant has already had a significant impact on the lives of its employees. Many of them have struggled to find employment in the past due to their disabilities, but Belong Kitchen has given them a chance to prove themselves and contribute to their community.
