As a Louisiana Native , I approve this crawfish . They were clean and well seasoned 9/10 (can't give a 10 it was more than I'm used to paying ) I highly recommend and get some crab legs while you at it

Don't know about food. Ordered catfish and grits at 6:35 on Sunday night 4/7 and it was finally brought to my table @ 8:57. When I asked about status of order at 7:45, owner told another customer " he must think this is fast food." Big difference between fast food and almost 2.5 hours. Needless to say I was long gone when someone else in my party texted me that my food was ready. Keep it!!!

Because it was my first time here and crayfish prices have increased...and I'm on a budget, I got 1lb of mild flavored crayfish, two potatoes, and a corn. I love and anticipated being offered varying flavors for my dish, but they only had 1 flavor but levels of intensity. Thought disappointed by that, I must say the quality of the food was good. I would definitely go back to this place. The corn was sweet, and oh, how I adore sweet corn. The potatoes were small and a bit harder than I would like, but they were still a good boil. The service was quick and friendly. The staff is humble and helpful. You will have to be strategic and fast concerning seating because it is limited, or get your order to go and enjoy it in your comfort. I, unfortunately, inhale my food before I think k about taking pics, but I'm working on it! Get your keys and head on over!

When it's crawfish season, you better swing by. They have 3 spice options, and you get your choice of crawfish by the lb or by platter (fixed sizes with corn and potatoes). We went with the middle spice option and the smaller, and it was perfect for two. Service was kind and super quick.

Despite the desolate state of the 2024 crawfish season, this establishment defied the odds and dished out a savory salvation. Opting for 3 lbs of their medium heat crawfish, I braced myself for a flavor-packed journey, fortified by their surprisingly reasonable pricing - a glimmer of hope in an otherwise bleak landscape. I'm back again to say boil house never disappoints. I went to crafty crab and a few more spots (they're not close in comparison), but when I ate their crawfish they all were pregnant with red eggs!! I never had that problem in my life I was traumatized, but I had to go to boil house all the flavor is inside not on top and it's the closest you get to Louisiana crawfish. 10/10 Always Recommend !!! I'll be back again later on lol

Man! I’ve got to tell you, there is NO better place to come get authentic Louisiana crawfish in Houston PERIOD! They do not come to play around & that’s for sure. The flavor is perfect every the, the crawfish is boiled to perfection every time and the service is top notch every time!I’m from NOLA & my husband is from Lake Charles and this is hands down the best crawfish we have had in all of Texas. After we moved from here we find excuses just to come and eat here.I saw a negative review about liking the TX Viet butter sauce crawfish better. Okay well that’s not authentic. (FYI viet people in Louisiana boil it the way boil house does it, none of that butter sauce mess!) If you’re a Texan and that’s what you like stay home and leave the real deal to people who know what real good boiled seafood is supposed to be, all the flavor on the inside and none on the shell!!!We will be in town on Sunday for a wedding and this is our FIRST STOP. Y’all, please don’t run out, we are fixing our mouth for this treat. Love y’all!
