So we were on vacation in Houston and on a whim decided to come here for coffee.. best choice ever! The atmosphere is excellent; open, tropical, inviting. The owner is cheerful and welcoming. And best of all: their coffee! We got the cinimon-honey and marzapan coffee and it was absolutely delicious. It was so freaking good we forgot to take photos of the coffee before we slurped it down! Highly recommended this place.

Cozy and is inside cool shipping container building. I stumbled upon this when I was out up in Houston for an event from my boyfriend and didn't want to go to Starbucks. They are very pet friendly with my cat and let me stay to work while enjoying their drink and atmosphere. I have ordered the Ferro rocher coffee and was surprised that the medium was in a large cup! It tasted delicious. I'm not sure when I will be back since I don't live in Houston, but it is a cute mom and pop shop. Support local businesses!

Located in the Big Kahuna Hut, Cafe Guadalupe has rebranded as the Overflow Cafe. Service was great and all the staff were friendly. Theres a large seating area with a warm fire pit, which was a great surprise. I ordered the de La Rosa Mazapan Latte, which I asked to be made "less sweet." The employee perfected the sweetness for me and although I knew it has a peanut butter base, I wasn't expecting to find an actual chopped peanut towards the end of my drink. They stamp their cups with the verde, "walk by Faith," which was a nice surprise.

I'm a coffee lover & with the boycott of Starbucks, I decided to explore & support more local coffee shops! Cafe Guadalupe deserves more attention! Miranda customer service was excellent! She recommended the Mazapan & it was delicious! I brought a book & notebook with me & she offered to lite the fireplace as I get some work done! Truly a personal experience and a over & beyond touch! I love how they played Christmas music & it wasn't too loud. Upstairs has a huge open patio! Overall, I enjoyed my time here & will surely be back again!

This cafe feels homey, safe, and it’s beautiful! The food is delicious as well as the coffee. It tastes like a mom’s food made with care. I will continue to bring my family friends to this location ?

My first rule of coffee shops is: look for the ones run by small-business owners—preferably family-owned and -operated—and avoid corporate chains. I was delighted to find Café Guadalupe, which fits that description perfectly. The breakfast tacos were delicious, and the coffee is divine. The owners prioritize customer service, and the atmosphere is relaxed in an up-for-anything vibe. Highly, highly recommended!
