Worst seafood I’ve tasted thus far. Ordered coctel de camarón and was given literally canned tomato with probably frozen & over cooked shrimp, because of the rubbery texture. Obviously was sent back. Requested a mojarra frita after and was tasteless. No salt, no seasoning. Nothing to it.. again frozen for too long. My husband ordered a dozen of oysters and for some reason they were not properly cleaned. From there he got brocheta de camaron and I could tell by his face expression from the first bite, he was so disappointed. Then came the chicken quesadilla and again, frozen taste. If you know what freshness taste like, than surely you’d know fridge smell taste. Gross. Let me Not forget the “nacho chips”. STALE. To top it off the waitress didn’t give us napkins and or proper utensils; she forgot our drinks and the food plates were not served all at once, but one plate at a time. Not hot or warm but already cold. Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s not how it’s supposed to be. We were the only customers there besides the men at the bar. How is this place still open?

I went 1 year ago, there was a very kind girl. And I've been twice and now everything is very different, they bring the food to each person, they don't bring it at the same time. And the cook chases people away to stay drinking with his friends. He is selective with people in a public place. TERRIBLE SERVICE THEY HAVE NOW NOOO I RECOMMEND THEM

You will understand, you need competent personnel in a business to give greater attention, but it is admirable when a person has high capabilities... fill the Pablito glasses with shampoo... and long live ?? a toast to CANCUN RESTAURANT.

This place has amazing food, fried rice is the best of Houston’s fried rice! Love it… salsas are delicious! Brochetas omg! This is a place you would come again and make it your favorite sea food restaurant. Ceviche is so so good! Employees are nice and well attentive at their customers. And not expensive at all.

I wouldn't recommend ordering oysters from here. I love oysters but this wasn't good at all. Only one person was working and the kitchen is so nasty.

Possibly the worse restaurant in our list. Two in our party ordered 'shrimp a la diabla' with different side and they got a total different type of cooked shrimp. Other ordered grilled shrimp and got steemed shrimp covered with a hot sauce (weird). My fried fish had no salt and side salad only had shreded lettuce. Too expensive and you have to eat whatever they decide to serve you. We came because of a 4 star review, but should have suspected it was a bad place when we only saw a couple of people eating on a sunday.

Best oysters in Houston, amazing service and very friendly. I've been to a few sea food restaurants in Houston and ordered oysters, usually they are not cleaned correctly and are small. This place has HUGE oysters and they are clean! Super fresh and very tasty. I will definitely be back again.

Some family members and I decided to try this place out for the 1st time.We walked in and it was empty, it smelled like they has just mopped but with a dirty mop head. I ordered unsweetened tea and it tasted so sour I sent it back and ordered a soda and it also had a flat taste. ?The best thing here was the green salsa. Now that salsa was freaking delicious I used it on my food. ? I ordered beef quesadillas and the meat had NO flavor, I had to open it up and add salt, pepper, and salsa to get a taste out of it. The waiter offered my haberno dipping salsa and I usually can handle the heat but this was so hot my tongue went numb!My husband got boiled shrimp and said it was okay but had loads of lime. One family member ordered cerviche amd he said it was good and he had no issues.Another family member ordered hot shrimp and said the shrimp were tough and overcooked and the flavor was not really there.I don't think I will be back. The reviews are mixed so maybe I came on a bad day, it did seem like only 1 person was working in the entire place but still I paid $50 and felt unsatisfied with so much!
