I ordered the jerk chicken bowl for lunch and was thoroughly disappointed. I have never seen jerk chicken be a grilled chicken breast with BBQ sauce poured on top. I would not come here and order this item.

Very very disappointed! My best friend came in town so I bought her here. We ordered together the exact same thing. My friend received her food way before mine so by the time she was done eating mine was still in limbo! Once I received mine, which you can tell they rushed it...the grits were like water and the fish was under cooked!

I wish I could do half stars, if so I’d give them a 3.5.I had the pork belly biscuit with a fruit cup. Everything together ranged about 17 bucks. I think my food would have been better if I had come earlier in the day, but since I came 10-15 mins before closing it was alittle old/ didn’t taste as fresh. The biscuit was well made and tasted good, but there was a layer of cooked on cheese that was pretty hard and tasteless making the meal hard to enjoy. The pork belly needed alittle more seasoning as well. Fruit cup was pretty tasty- mostly melons, but they were soft and sweet. The staff seemed friendly, but I could definitely tell that they were trying to close down. They ran out of forks and gave me a plastic fork that melted and was too small to eat the massive biscuit with.Overall I think the food is high quality, and has potential. I’d visit again earlier in the day.P.S. this picture is take after eating some

It doesn’t even make sense to go anywhere else for breakfast downtown! We were in the city for a few days and saw this spot had great reviews so figured we would verify, ha! And let me tell you… so worth it. The flavor, the options, the presentation, the service, the ambiance of the food hall. 10 10 10s across the board. We felt welcomed from the very beginning. AND they’re black owned?!? I will be back whenever we are in the city. 1

Loved the pork belly biscuit and the shrimp and grits. Location is convenient and there’s plenty of seating. Good spot for breakfast downtown.

I had trouble finding this location. It's among a cluster of fast-food restaurants located in the building labeled Finn Hall. They could make do with a list of restaurants in the building placed on the outside so that people who look specifically for this restaurant won't be confused. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken. The chicken itself was flavorful and tender, but a bit too salty for me. It tasted like there wasn't enough from the other ingredients to balance the saltiness of the chicken. My coffee took a while to be served. I was under the impression that they'd serve the coffee first, but I had to remind them after I got my dish.

Came into town for my wife's birthday and found this online. This place was amazing!!! Will definitely go back whenever in town again! Amazing food, nicest people and overall good vibes.

Me and a few friends decided to get out today and tried a new spot for brunch. Carol Kay's - located in Finn Hdid not disappoint. The staff are some of the friendliest! I'm recovering from shoulder surgery, so cutting something is a challenge. I ordered the smothered chicken biscuit, and asked if the kitchen could cut my chicken for me. They did! SUPER NICE! My friends ordered the hot honey pork belly - they loved it! I had a bite - right mix of sweetness with a hint of spice, and the pork was super tender. The biscuits - yummm! I could've taken the tray home! The sausage gravy - like my granny use to make. And the potatoes on the bottom of the bowls - cooked perfectly! I would suggest getting an order of the cinnamon rolls too. Since they're located in Finn Hall, seating is not an issue.

This is the place for a traditional breakfast. They cook eggs perfectly. The cook biscuits the way they should be. I had the hash, eggs and potatoes and it was amazing. It's fast. The service is good and the people are nice. The overall atmosphere in the Finn Hall is cozy, friendly and approachable. This is right across from the AC and an excellent choice for a real breakfast.

This restaurant is inside the Finn food hall. Excellent breakfast/ brunch spot. Perfectly seasoned food. Eggs were just right. The biscuit was delicious.

This is a great alternative to all of the hotel restaurants in the neighborhood. The food is delicious and he was making the biscuits fresh in front of us. I would highly recommend this spot for breakfast. The food hall atmosphere is fun too.
