Food was good except the queso. The queso tastes like pure velveeta cheese with extra orange food coloring and a little too much cilantro in the green sauce! The staff was very nice in fact they had a few people from our closed down casa ole so it was nice to see a familiar face! All in all it was very good, just tweek the queso!?

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant for many years. We always take our friends here. We Love their chips and green tomatillo sauce. Highly recommend Spinach enchiladas; shrimp and crab enchiladas; chicken enchiladas; and fajita's! Charro beans are delicious! We have always had a good meal here. It's not fancy, in a strip center that's not the best, but its good! We also use their pickup and delivery.

Chavez has some great food. I highly recommend the El Jeffe combination platter. It comes with a beef fajita, small taco salad, and a chicken fajita quesadilla. Their chips and salsa is always spot on.My only gripe is that the prices went up recently. It's still worth going to, but we will need to go less often as a result.

The first time I came here was 2 years ago when I ordered their beef fajitas with all the added goodies. For some reason we never came back. However, my brother-in-law was in town and wanted some great Mexican food. Driving around Highway 6 we happened to be going by here and decided to visit again. I'm very glad we did because the food was delicious. He ordered a mixed plate of tacos, quesadilla, and enchiladas. I ordered the chimichanga. Also, the chips and salsa was delicious as well. The dip was the right consistency and not overly spicy. As for the service, it was a bit touch and go but wasn't terrible. I would still give this restaurant 5 out of 5.

This had to be some of the best Mexican food we had. The food was so fresh, so vibrant and presented wonderfully! We all had something different (4 adults and 2 kids) and it was all amazing. We also had a Mangonada Margarita and that thing was YUM!!!!! We are not from the area and I’m definitely going to miss not being able to grab some food here.

We are plantbased parents with carnivore kids and absolute lovers of REAL Mexican food. This place does NOT disappoint! Son ordered chile con queso and ground beef crunchy tacos-- loved then. We shared tge veggie enchiladas made with whole wheat tortillas and served with brown rice. Ask for no creme fresh and no cheese and it's totally plant based from what I can determine. Comes with option of red ranchero or green tomatillo sauce, we ordered one of each and loved them both. Ranchero was smoother and not as spicey but both are absolutely delicious!! Chips are outstanding salsas are outstanding. It will NOT disappoint!!!!! We WILL be back!

Not too spicy for those who want to taste the food they are eating.First time eating a fried, stuffed avocado! My wife found it extremely Yummy.I had the El JuanitoWell worth the visit.
