Delicious food (so many compliments from guests!) and wonderful service for our wedding day. They offer a very in depth tasting process as well.

We absolutely loved City View for our wedding. The food was incredible, and we received nothing but compliments from our guests. Their tasting and decision-making process is exceptional, and we enjoyed every tasting session throughout the wedding planning process. They provide a wide array of choices to sample from and assist in selecting the best meal presentation. The Chicken Wellington Tower was SO GOOD! Their food is perfectly seasoned, tastes fresh and not processed, unlike many other caterers we tried. Van and Rachel's communication was excellent, and they promptly addressed any questions we had. They were able to accommodate our guests with multiple dietary restrictions. Moreover, they assisted with serving the cake and cleanup, and their staff was highly professional. We wholeheartedly recommend City View Catering!

City View Catering did not disappoint!!! We used City View for our wedding in September. From the start, Van was extremely helpful and responsive when scheduling tastings. Van, Rachel and Sharon were each apart of our first tasting and final menu selection. They truly have an art for culinary and catering. Our wedding day food was delicious and our guest could not stop talking about it! Something special City View does is allow the bride and groom to choose anything imaginable as their first meal as bride and groom. We absolutely loved having City View for our special day and could not recommend them more! Thank y’all for being apart of our day!

The servers were attentive and polite. The food was hot and delicious as expected. No complaints at all, they are the BEST in the business.Thank you for giving our guests amazing food!

This caterer is INCREDIBLE!They were one of the recommended caterers at my venue, and the owner let it slip that CityView was by far her favorite.Their location, is not in the best side of town, but I scheduled our tastings, and they asked me not only to invite my fiancé, but our parents too. (Mine live locally). Our tastings before the wedding were top tier, the food doesn’t just taste amazing, but the presentation is beautiful too. What I really want to add… we had a wedding package that was supposed to include another vendor’s wedding cake and desserts …. But we weren’t impressed, and asked if we could have the $ applied toward CityView and use them for desserts instead. Our venue and CityView accommodated us with PREMIUM desserts + a special custom dessert serving at no additional cost. She even included an extra appetizer for us.I just cannot say enough about not only the QUALITY of this vendor, but also the presentation…. And just being the most genuinely nice people. Thank you to CityView for reallyMaking our wedding so special. Our family and friends are STILL raving about it a couple months later!

Best decision you could ever make is hiring City View Catering! My husband and I hired them for our April 2023 wedding and truly we cannot say enough amazing things about them! Rachel and Van have such extensive culinary and catering knowledge which reflects in their work so much. Rachel hosted both of our tastings and made the process so enjoyable and easy. As a person who absolutely loves food, this was some of the best food I had ever tasted! They do a phenomenal job and incorporating so many flavors into each dish they serve.A very unique addition that City View Catering offers is allowing the bride and groom to choose any food imaginable for their first meal as husband and wife! This was such a fun perk of working with this amazing business! One thing that none of my guests can stop talking about from our wedding is the food! From the colorful and exquisite display of the pre-plated salads and buffet to the outstanding flavor of the food!I promise you won't regret booking City View Catering!!

I want to be as fair as possible. We got excellent service in our initial tasting. Rachel took notes the entire time, and we emailed back and forth. We nailed down options we wanted, and some changes we wanted made. Then second tasting was quite different - Rachel had a family emergency and was not there understandably. Her mom Sharon took over, was clearly frazzled over the family emergency, and many of the items she presented we had already tried and the changes we requested for second tasting hadnt been done. We wanted grilled chicken with the picatta sauce and then also the poblano chicken grilled instead of breaded. Sharon realized this, the cook quickly tried to make it and they then proceeded to serve us raw chicken once we cut in, so we couldnt taste it. We did ask her to please note though that this is what we wanted (cooked of course ) . A few weeks before the wedding Rachel took back over, but emails were coming from the both of them. Forward to the wedding day, we paid for plated dinner service. They asked us before how we wanted to serve the steak and we stated medium. Some meat was served medium and some was served well done. They asked for a guest list with primary tables and we listed it. Those guests were served second to last ( parents of bride and groom ) and were sitting around waiting while others literally finished their meals. We paid for tea, yet no guests got tea or knew it was available. We asked after the matter from guests at 5 of the tables and they said they didnt even know it was available, even though City view assured us they would have it there. My Wife got the wrong food she requested. We both did not even get to try our chocolate cake because they served all of it to the guests. We had white cake left over and I saw the caterer taking it to the back and either threw it away or gave it to staff even though WE paid for the cake and asked them to give remainder to my parents. The biggest issue was when I presented issues to Van and the team. They denied everything, Van became loud and aggressive and took absolutely no responsibility. He stated not everyone will get the same even-ness of meat, but then why tell your customers you can do that?! he argued that all guests had to do was ask for another- but thats besides the point. Why are you serving overdone meat to begin with?! He said there were no notes about grilled chicken picatta and wanted to blame me. I stated thats the issue, there should have been notes! we talked to them in BOTH tastings regarding this. The tea issue he flat out denied, and the service to the guests of honor parents his argument was there was no way and they served people in 7 minutes. I know that is a plain lie, because we had the coordinator come over and ask us how we were doing and point out the time, and we knew what time we had out official entry. The point of all this is to say City view has the capability to make good food, but Van specifically was rude and argumentative to me when I raised concerns. He literally was trying to dismiss me and tell me that's not what happened, even though WE WERE THERE and he was not there. He was going off his staff, which of course would lie to protect themselves. I tried to be understanding stating that the family event and handing off back and forth probably caused things to fall through the cracks and to get lost in translation, but he just continued being belligerent and insisting they couldn't have done anything wrong. I was not going to write a review and instead just keep it to ourselves until the attitude I got from Van in my phone call after the fact. My issue falls in the way this company and Van responded to our wedding day issues and I cannot recommend this company anymore. In fact I will go out of my way to warn people. We really were hoping for a great day, but felt they really fell short- and more importantly, failed to recognize that there could have been improvement- instead being dismissive and trying to point the finger. There were a lot of promises of great service that in the end, just were n

Van and Sharron we can't tell you how many compliments we received on the food and service. The Staff was amazing ! We have had people tell us they have never been served so much food at a wedding before. Having one of the owners walking around at the event was above and beyond our expectations and asking each guest if there was anything needed or wanted ! WOW !! If you are having an event there is no reason to look anywhere else !! This is your caterer. Thank you again so much you made this day even more special !! Steve, Rosie

Can I give 1000 stars?? That is what CityView deserves. They elevated our daughters wedding. I can’t tell you how many phone calls/ text messages we received after the wedding saying the food was the best they ever had at a wedding. Victoria was so much fun to work with. She is smart, organized and thoughtful. Anna was also such a stand out to me. She is so very kind during our initial set up of tastings/ contract information. It meant SO much when I had been dealing with a variety of unkind people within the wedding planning process. They know how to cook, they know how to present and they know how to hire servers. My water goblet was never half full. The staff was next to none. I almost pinched myself at the wedding because they are so next level. And guess what ? They didn’t have all the “hidden fees/ service charges “ that jack up your total at the end like so many of the other caterers have. Straightforward. Love them. They are indeed the rockstars of catering in the Houston area.
