This place is in a somewhat empty shopping center, and I am saddened that more people weren't at this place on a Saturday night. They had live music on, and from the looks of it if you want to be a part of the show you can as they also have karaoke it looks like. The gentleman that greeted us was so nice and made us feel so welcomed! It wasn't one of those "oh I have to be nice to these guests because I'm getting paid" type people, you could really tell his niceness was genuine. I felt like I was at a fine dining restaurant. Our server was also very nice, and super helpful as I asked for a wine suggestion and she hit the nail with her suggestion. She brought a small sample for me to try before serving it. The food itself was delicious! We got the onion rings appetizer, and you could tell they were made to order. They were super fresh and also crispy. The chicken parmigiana was good, and they were not stingy with their portions at all. The picture I took doesn't do the dish justice. I will definitely go back to this place, as their food, service and overall experience is a great one when you dine in.

Chose this place on Valentine's cuz the hubby and I wanted something different and the reviews were good . And they were 100 percent right. The food, atmosphere, service, music, all of it was terrific. We'll definitely be back for our regular date night.

I had never been here and myself and my bandmates after an all nighter studio session decided to go there as opposed to the original thought of going to Taco Bell and it was a great decision. Awesome cozy atmosphere inside with soft jazz music playing and a calming vibe paired with some of the best French toast I've ever had personally. Their bagels were of special note to me as well as they were clearly made in house and tasted like sourdough bread, they were amazing with cream cheese. Coffee was also excellent and while service was excellent, our waiter was a little overly attentive because I suspect maybe his shift was almost over or something to that effect but it was a little excessive. For example, I asked for a few minutes to figure out what I wanted to eat, as did the other guys, and he came back like 20-30 seconds later asking if we were ready to order ? and I'm not detracting from him he was great but it did remind me of many years waiting tables and how it can be, indeed. Lol. In other words, I get you waiter broski from clementines, I get you... I suggest however trying to adhere to guests wishes for time needed/requested to observe the menu as it has many options and we had never been! All good though, friends at Clementines, our waiter was semi-aggressively prompt but prompt is preferable to lackadaisical always! The food was magnificent, kudos to the kitchen folks! And we shall be back!

Houston native here. It is not my intention to be mean, but this is probably the worst food I have ever been served in a restaurant. French onion soup was black. BLACK. With an intolerable amount of salt to the point where it was inedible. Even my guest, who cooks and has a tendency to use too much salt, could not finish it. For the entree, my guest & I decided on the veal topped with lump crabmeat, which sounded delicious. I mean, how do you screw that up? It was completely flavorless. The veal was covered in a mixture of lump crabmeat smothered in some suspiciously clear, flavorless type of gel or gravy. Both the veal and the crabmeat were utterly devoid of any flavor. One or two bites and that was it. Boxed it up because I was raised to eat every bite of food on my plate and not let anything go to waste. Brought it home, put it in the fridge, but never went back to it.Quite surprising experience considering the prices and that this place serves the Champions golf course community (where my family built several houses) and has been around for over 40 years. Prepare to be ogled by all the regulars, mostly elderly, when you walk through the front door.My guest felt the same way, and I felt the need to apologize to her for the experience repeatedly. To the owners, please save any response. I am seeing similar reviews on here going back years, and it is clear you have no intention of ever fixing anything.

I had potato soup, which was very starchy and salad. I also had the tiramisu, which was partially frozen and had no flavor.

Friday night 1/12/24 at 6:15pm. We walk in and half the restaurant is unavailable to sit in because its reserved for people coming in for the live music tonight. We ended up sitting near the back and had the pleasure of observing one of the cooking staff taking a nap in the booth near us. For some reason everybody thinks this is acceptable.... we've seen waitresses and the manager totally ignoring this oddity. He is now awake and playing on his phone ....oh lovely, now the manager has come back here and is sitting in the booth next to him and is playing on his phone. We don't come here often and we feel like outsiders due to the clickish environment of everyone here. On a positive note, the music on the intercom is pleasant.
