If I’d could give zero stars, I would. The service is awful.

All the baristas at the 19th St location are always on top. Great customer attention and a constant fun, positive attitude. Most of them also enjoy trying espresso art. Not that its so important to me - it just seems to elevate their mood, and maybe helps to break up their monotony. So including the managers, the people are all by far the best part of my daily experience there. The food has always been great. The “music”… has permanently sunk into its own terrible genre that even the employees are cringing at. Obviously corporate has limited the managers access to it, and so the staff and customers are stuck with it. …But hey, if you wear a pink teddybear backpack this may just be your venue. The Toast phone app integration makes even custom orders a no-brainer. Kudos for that.

Passed by driving they offer drive thru although I went inside. I decided to go in because they had a sign that said daily 5-6pm half off pastries ?. They taste so amazing! We tried the pistachio croissant, banana pecan nut, chocolate croissant , almond croissant and blueberry muffin. We got all those pastries for $13 but we would pay full price for these they are so delicious! Def will be coming once again when we visit Houston again.

Our favorite lunch spot after a walk along the Nicholson hike & bike trail with Rosie the golden retriever! Love the beet salad and the baguette with ham and butter makes me feel like I'm back in Paris. Terrific service on the patio, they are always so nice and generous with water for Rosie. Highly recommend!

I go here at least 5 times a week for mimosas and food. I’m obsessed with all they have to offer and their customer service is top tier.

I ordered online and when arrived 20 minutes later I told the lady that greeted us that I had done so. She didn't ask what I ordered or ask me my name, she just said it wasn't ready. Not sure how she knew that. Waited 15 additional minutes and finally asked the batista how much longer. Once she asked me my name she said I should of told her as they don't premake the drinks... this would of been great for the first lady to have told me instead of just looking at her cell phone. Great little place just the wrong front counter help.

This is a place where you can come, order, sit down and chat very comfortably for a long time! The place is very ample and has plenty of tables, benches, and individual or large spaces to accommodate small or large parties! The staff is super friendly (young) , very helpful when it comes to decide what to order either from the baked goods , coffee selection, or from their food menu. I loved my latte and plain croissant, but what I liked the best was the comfortable ambiance of this restaurant!

Phenomenal service. The hostesses and waitresses were so friendly and helpful.I got the chef's scramble with multigrain toast and a health nut scone. I always love CB's pastries and breads. These did not disappoint. My iced cold brew was appropriately strong and flavorful. The only thing I was mildly disappointed about was the sausage with my meal -- it was quite dry and had little flavor. Overall the atmosphere, the service, and the flavors were on point.

DO NOT ORDER PASTRIES VIA UBER EATS!NONE of their item descriptions are accurate. I ordered an almond croissant, thinking it’ll only have almonds on top. As the picture shows and no description mentioned anything else.To my surprise, I bit into it and this nasty thick discharge like texture came out.

Came here twice and both times were just disappointing. First time it was the Benedict; the bread was so thick and ham was similar to that of a cold cut. Second time was the small soggy French toast; the portion was so small and the flavor was not bad, but not worth the money. Honestly, on any day of the week Common Bond is worse than any random IHOP.

This is such a great café in the Heights. I am a frequent visitor and have been for years. The ambience is always so nice and the coffee and food are great. The staff is sweet. I highly recommend for anyone in the area to visit.

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. Kouign amann and croissant were good. My fiancé was not impressed with the prices for the amount of food so he stuck with a croissant and opted to get food elsewhere after. I got a cappuccino, which was watery and bitter, an OJ, which was very good, and the eggs benedict. Biscuits were dry and crumbly and had a weird sweet flavor. They somehow managed to cook the egg yolks and leave the whites runny, and the ham was extremely salty. Arugula with a splat of dressing on top looked like an afterthought. Extremely loud Christmas music. Won’t be back to this location.
