Everything was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. I had the Sicilian Cosmopolitan, salmone pistachio, and Italian cream cake. The food and drink were very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner.

The portions are bigger than we thought they would be, and had amazing flavor. The only thing was that when asking which dish was recommended, the server mentioned to get the one dish with a side of meatballs. When I asked, if the servings were small or not? He mentioned getting both would be great. I told him I didn't want to eat a lot of meat, so how big was the pork serving. He said it was 8 0z. So I said, that that would be enough for me. He still continued to pressure me into getting the meatballs, which I didn't appreciate. I held my ground, but it was not a welcome experience when being served at a restaurant. The garlic bread was amazing! I know I will be dreaming about it! ?

We come here for our anniversary every couple of years (I proposed to my wife here) and it has a very old school feel to it. It’s low lit and quiet and perfect for an intimate dinner.

Loved it! They took a reservation for 8 on a Friday night at 6:30 very easily...was so happy to take the whole family as we were in from out of town. Very nice experience. Very authentic Italian meal.

The waiter has gum disease- you could smell it when he took our order and exchanged conversation. It truly made things a bit un appetizing. I really enjoy the ensalata mista however last night had too much dressing. The sweet potato ravioli was delicious as always! Just yummy!!The sorbet tasted and smelled like the refrigerator .
“Welcome” said a white haired man who donned a white apron as my wife and I entered the restaurant.He was sitting in the bar area watching TV.The restaurant was mostly empty with only 4 or 5 tables occupied.We were recommended this restaurant by a professional who we encountered while here in Houston.Authentic Italian, and it did not disappoint. Quite possible the best Italian food I have ever had.I couldn’t decide between Lobster Ravioli or the more traditional Spaghetti and Meatballs. So when the server came back I asked if I could have half of each.Both were fantastic!As we were finishing dinner the man with the white apron approached our table. I had the sense when we entered the restaurant he was the owner.My wife asked “Are you Damien?”He chuckled and said “No ma’am. My name is Joseph, but they call me bubba.”“Damien is my cousin, he founded Carrabba’s Italian restaurant and when they went national part of the deal was he had to sell this restaurant. About 30 years ago he called me, we are cousins, and I bought it from him.”If you are ever in Houston, I would recommend you walk into this forgotten establishment for dinner. You won’t be disappointed.Tell Bubba, I said hello.

Expensive and disappointing. Food was average and our server rushed us through our meal. This was a family birthday dinner and the restaurant didn't live up to their reputation. Won't be back.
