I used to love the original location on 59 and Edloe when it was Fresca Pasta. Since they moved to this location the food doesn’t taste the same. I’ve been twice to give it a chance and the 2nd time my disappointment was greater than the first. Pasta tasted stale. I ordered dessert and it tasted old, like it was sitting there a few days. Awful! I had to give it back and request a freshly made piece. Never coming back.

As many others said here - very close to authentic Italian food. Sauces don’t have much sugar, no overload of cheese and oil. Ingredients are fresh. I really enjoyed the dishes hereHuge shoutout to the sir taking orders and managing the place (didn’t get his name unfortunately)High recommendation for sausage pizza, pasta bolognese and lasagne. Desserts are not too sweet - recommend tiramisu and the Chocolate Decadence! The atmosphere is nice - order at the counter and food is brought to the table

Best Italian food in town. If you want to eat real Italian food, it is right place. Every dish in the menu truly represents Italy. I recommend to try home made pasta with any sauce. Desserts are also outstanding and absolutely like must in Italy.Grazie mille Chef! The service and team are also perfect, always food on time and everyone is friendly! Thanks ?

We ate there on a Sunday evening. It's a pretty spartan setting for dine-in. The service was friendly, well intentioned but slow. The food was decent but not exceptional... with the exception of the lasagna. It was amazing. Sort of left with the impression of what's the big fuss?

This is the best Italian food in Houston. Atmosphere is pretty casual - no waiters, order at the counter. But regardless, this is the BEST. This place deserves a lot more business than it gets. Appetizers and pasta are as homemade and fresh as can be. Every single one we’ve tried (Cacio e Pepe, Ravioli, Fettuccine Alfredo.. etc). Prices are better than most. Parking is easy. We’ve been multiple times and will keep coming back.

Amazing place!! I tried pasta with Pesto sauce and Salmon, I'll be back for sure!
We had a fabulous dinner of authenticate Italian cuisine. The Manhatten Clam Chowder was full of delicious clams. The Grilled Mediterranean Octopus with side spaghetti was exquisite. I had the Linguini con Vongole alla Napoletana which was delicious. Everything was perfectly prepared.
Roberto is the best Italian chef in Texas . Bar none.
