Del Vista is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston!My order:Apps: meatballs and musselsSalad: Caesar (must have)Dinner: The Big Fat Chicken Breast with sautéd spinach - this chicken breast is the biggest thing I have ever seen. (Also a must have dish)I would give this place a 100 stars if I could.Shout out to the amazing staff and food!Edwin is amazing and runs a great establishment.

Went here for Valentine's Day dinner based on the previous reviews and I must admit, it was that good that I'm catching myself writing a review (I never do) lol. The food was great, the ambience was good and the drinks were amazing. Definitely planning on coming back to try a different menu item.

This place never lets us down. Food is consistently good. Our waitress was fantastic. We were meeting old friends that we haven't seen in a long time. She served us with the perfect amount of attention-not ignoring, not constantly interrupting. I also love that my water glass is never empty more than a minute or two.

We've enjoyed Del Vista often in the past, and this time was to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were provided a quiet table for our special occasion and service was top notch. As usual the waitstaff did their jobs well and all was on time and delicious. We appreciate the depth of wine offered and at excellent prices close to retail. The best in town coconut pie was outstanding. We will return often.

Wonderful experience! We had a mother/ daughter dinner in the private room and this was the perfect place for our group. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the staff was friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend!
The food, drinks, and service were amazing! We were there for my daughter's birthday and she was happy! There was not one thing that tasted badly, and with 7 people we all ate something different. We will definitely go back! Lalo was our server and was awesome and his helper was the best! Never had an empty water glass! Thank you Del Vista!

Always a pleasure to dine at Del Vista. Spent New Years Eve with some friends and we were able to enjoy the conversation and have some outstanding food from the kitchen. My wife and I will continue to keep the restaurant as one of our favorites.

Our first visit to this restaurant was for an anniversary and early New Year's Eve dinner. We found the atmosphere to be welcoming and relaxed, business casual, with a mixed crowd of adults and families. The food was excellent and prepared in unique ways that we had not seen elsewhere. We tried two of the fish entrees and will go back to try some of the other main plates. The Heirloom Tomato salad was very tasty, as was the Three Hour Leches desert. The waitstaff were very attentive, but not overly so, and greeted us upon arrival and leaving. All in all, a very pleasant experience that we will repeat.

We discovered Del Vista a couple of months. Everything we've had has been delicious -trout, chicken, meatballs, lasagna, and especially my husband's favorite, their old fashions. We've been about once a week. Today was our 40th anniversary and our big celebration got changed from today until the next day. We still wanted to go out to dinner so chose Del Vista because last week we saw another diner eating the mussels and they looked delicious. I don't even like mussels but told my husband I would try them. We got the mussels with the marinara sauce. OMG, we had to order extra bread because the mussels and sauce were so delicious. Our chicken dish and Tres Leche completed a wonderful dining experience. Our son and his wife FaceTimed us while we were eating. We were raving to them how delicious our meals were. Our dinner was an extra special treat because at the end of the evening our waiter said our son called in and took care of our bill. Truly made our 40th anniversary even more special. Definitely would recommend Del Vista for any occasion. Staff, service, and quality of food are outstanding.
