This placed robbed me!!! I was there with 4 friends. We had 4 taco plates and 4 drinks. Bill came out to be $450 US ... how can tacos be that expensive?!? When I complained to the manager about the over charge he said I needed to pay it or he’d call the cops. Worst place in Mexico!!!! Tourist stay away or you’ll get robbed!!!

I had a hibiscus water...Amazing! Chorizo taco and al pastor taco!!! When I say taco, I mean 5 tacos all together!!! This place is amazing and extremely affordable! don't miss out!!! Ate here on my last day with I would've gone more!

My daughter and I had two dinners at El Taco while in Playa Del Carmen. Both times we were drawn in by the marinated pork on the spit and had it for dinner. My daughter had the pork (el pastor) on a fajitas platter in place of other meat and I had it on tacos and nachos. Both times were really good. We also had a few drinks - margaritas for me and pina colada for her. They were well done and fairly strong - but not overwhelmingly alcohol like some other places. Overall was fairly inexpensive, and is one of our favorites for the area.
