I've been to the better El Tiempo restaurants in Houston. This one was a little disappointing. This one lost something in the transition to suburbia.Update: Downgraded further. The place is just under 50% full (by number of tables). The bar has 6 empty seats (4 occupied), and service is ridiculously slow and inattentive.

This place is delicious! Beef fajitas and chicken enchiladas are excellent. Good atmosphere and service. Best Tex Mex restaurant in the Katy area.

The food is so underwhelming, and the service is bad, save your money go to Las mañanitas instead.

Slow, food not anything special, slightly over priced
This is honestly the best tex-mex I have found in Houston. It's pretty pricey, but nothing egregious. Service is good and the ambiance is fun and festive.

In the last 4 months I’ve eaten at Mexican restaurants from North Carolina to Utah, and Indiana to Florida. I’ve driven in between these places and I love to eat Mexican food. This one has been the best!

This was our first visit here and it was awesome! Service was impeccable, the chips and dips are delicious and fresh, homemade tortillas, delicious charro beans and rice, the breakfast tacos are huge and the kids love the kids menu options, not to mention the pork chop meal of the day was so so good, we will be back for more soon!
