This is the best French food we have had outside of France. The service was exceptional. The dishes were fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. We came for a date night and I would come back in a heartbeat.

We loved our table in the wine room. Our waiter was excellent. My lobster bisque, the duck, and the beet salad were excellent.Parking: Arrive early to get a parking space!
One of my favorite restaurants on Houston. The escargot and the foie gras are the best appetizers. All the main dishes are prepared to perfection. Service is always great!

We had the Charity Dinner. The ingredients in some of the dishes just did not feel cohesive. The plating of the dishes were a bit haphazard and seemed to be thrown together and simply garnished to get the order out to the waiting diners. (Perhaps we caught them on an overly busy night)The execution of the drinks in terms of taste were watered down and unfortunately the dessert was the only highlight that my partner and I were able to look forward to. The service however was excellent with our dishes coming out extremely fast. The food was a good temperature, but unfortunately we will not be dining with you all again.

Always lovely to sit in the window for an early quiet lunch and enjoy the sole meuniere. My husband indulged in the wild boar pasta and didn't regret it. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Etoile is reliably very good.

Went there with an Opentable reservation for an anniversary event. We got seated right next to the front door behind a curtain at a make-believe spot literally inches from the next table. The place wasn’t packed and there were a few empty tables but I was told by the unfriendly Manager that they are reserved for folks that asked for those specific tables. Reminding him that I had a reservation as well specifying an anniversary event did not help. He was adamant that those tables are “on-hold”. What an idiot and this is PROFILING for sure. Never going there again, there are many other better restaurants out there that don’t discriminate. Horrible place!!! What a dishrace of a manager, feeling great about the “power” he has in seating.

As always Etoile never disappoints. Once we walked thru the someone was there to greet us and take us to our table. It can get a little noisy in the main room so I would suggest that you make your reservations for the Wine Room if you prefer a quieter atmosphere. The food was wonderful and service exceptional. One of my favorite places to go for a special night out.

Etoile is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious, and the service is the same as one would expect in a Michelin restaurant. Fine dining with reasonable prices.

My husband & I celebrated a late Valentines at Etoile on Saturday. The atmosphere at Etoile is very chic, but low key. We sat in the back wine room, which has just 5 tables, so it was very peaceful. I had French onion soup, roasted duck, and the pear tart. My husband had the lobster bisque and the lamb chop special. All were absolutely wonderful. The servers were attentive and helpful. I recommend for a quiet and elegant dinner in the Galleria area.
