The food was great, the service was pretty good, the atmosphere was as expected. My biggest complaint which is not the restaurants fault (I am hoping that the bus boy didn't keep them) is I left my sunglasses and they didn't get turned in. The food and atmosphere was great though. Service was a little slow on drinks and taking our order.

Had the best and last meal at Frank's current location. Shelby is a phenomenal server. Very conscientious, friendly and all around such a lovely person. Hope to see her at your new location. Also Sharon (hostess) is so lovely and pleasant. Hope to see her at your new location. Happy to post photos if acceptable.

Frank’s had been on my list of places to try for awhile. The food was decent but not great and also closes fairly early.

This was our first visit. We were warmly greeted. The service was excellent. Never had to ask for anything. I had the "special" salad with homegrown heirloom tomatoes and watermelon. The tomatoes were so fresh they didn't even taste like a tomato, delicious! My husband had the Sunday special, which is prime rib; he said it was also amazing. Then we had a piece of chocolate cake. Very moist. We will keep this a special occasion place. They are moving to a new location, so we look forward to going there. There is one thing I was surprised about. We were asked if we wanted bread for the table. It was a breadbasket, very delicious, with a couple of different slices of bread and two different butter spreads. The charge was $3. I was surprised they charged for the bread. That is my only negative. We just won't get it next time, nothing special. We will go back!

100% of the time, you will receive excellent food and service at Frank's. We had a very special Father's Day dinner there with our family which included a one year old. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal, the waiters were so very kind and attentive, especially to the one year old and we loved every minute!

I have eaten inside the restaurant a couple of times, but have takeout from there almost weekly since the pandemic. The food is consistently good and they're online ordering allows me to make the necessary customizations to make even my most picky teenager happy. The staff there is very personable and professional. The young lady that brings my food to me when I come to pick it up remind me they're going to be closed at the end of this month until their new location is complete. We will miss them while they are gone.

I have been going here for years. I was very disappointed in the food this trip. The chicken fried steak had virtually no taste and the shrimp and grits was under spiced. Waiter got one of our diners dinner wrong so waiting for the replacement caused the others dinner to get cold

Frank's staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked into the restaurant to when we returned to our car.We were a party of four celebrating a birthday. We started with drinks and bread service. We enjoyed the Bourbon and the honey buttered bread basket. We ordered appetizers (fried green tomatoes) and I had a Caesar Salad with anchovies (4 fish).Very nicely served.Dinner came, CFS, fish and I ate short ribs. The CFS servings were huge portions! My short ribs were fall-off-the-bone prepared perfectly. All the whole the staff served us quietly and stayed vigilant yet out of the way.Even as we left the restaurant, the valet staff asked if they could help us get into our vehicle in a handicap marked car/spot.A wonderful night/dining experience.4/4 Syds.#howmanysyds

Had a lovely late lunch with my wife yesterday. Was greeted by the owner and had excellent meals topped off by Andy taking great care of us.Can’t wait to come back for dinner soon.

Franks food is consistently good. For a starter, their Fried Green Tomatoes topped with shrimp and remoulade is delicious. They have the best fried chicken in Houston served with a fresh made biscuit and honey..it's yummy!! For something different, try their mashed cauliflower instead of potatoes. Franks servers make you feel welcome and at home, from the minute we walk in the door until we leave. They are never pushy but always helpful. The only problem I have with Franks is that it is too close to home‼️

The food isn't bad, per say, but it is not great. There are many options a stone's throw away that are better. With that said, service was above par and acquiring a table was simple.

The service was excellent and attentive. Unfortunately the food was not up to expectations. The gravy for the mashed potatoes and chicken fried steak, was flavorless as werethe mashed potatoes. The fried chicken and chicken fried steak themselves were well seasoned and cooked. The pimento biscuits were flavorless, as was the biscuit that accompanied my dinner. The wedge salad was absolutely phenomenal appetizer and a meal itself. The service and wedge salad were the saving grace of the meal. I'll give Frank's a second chance the next time in Houston.

Always an excellent experience in every way. And if you are really lucky, Chris Shiner is behind the bar. He is quite entertaining and passionate about all things Frank. Food, service, ambiance.

Quiet place to have a business lunch. Not rushed. No obsequious hovering waiters, but always appears about the time you think you need one. Tasty meal. Excellent lunchtime variety.
