Their almond coffee cake is so delicious that I take it with me whenever I visit friends or family. I always buy a yule cake for the holidays. Their cream cheese danish is divine. The flaky crust on their quiches cannot be beat! Their birthday cakes are great too.

I tried the baguette, country loaf, and croissant. Everything tasted Americanized to me. Bland and no proper crust/crunch to anything. It just wasn't the texture of "french" bread. I understand that in humid environments bread doesnt often stay crunchy, but I can tell that it was never that way in the first place.

French Gourmet catered for our student event at the HMNS. We had many compliments about the deliciousness of each sandwich and especially the cookies. One student said that they were the best sugar cookie that she had ever had.Lauren was super helpful and responsive. I had to make a last minute change to our order, and Lauren was very accommodating.Dietary restrictions: The egg salad was delicious! They had plenty of vegetarian options

Meh! Very Americanized croissant. Maybe it’s the Houston humidity but at 9am I thought they should have a bit more crunch to the exterior and soft buttery texture. These are not bad per se but lack authenticity.

This was at one time a wonderful place.. and I am very torn about reporting the experience that had just played out.I placed an order online weeks in advance for a very special birthday, and they simply fell short of expectations.The order was placed online, paid for, and an email response was provided to me with confirmation of the order.Somewhere between the time I placed the order and two weeks later the order was forgotten..Needless to say they could not complete my order and there is going to be one very upset birthday girl.Offers to reconcile were suggested but sadly considerations were silly and not even close to what any reasonable person would accept. The suggestions were almost insulting to say the least.Very, very disappointed in the solutions to a problem they had zero sympathy for.

Love this bakery! This is my third year getting king cakes during Mardi Gras season and it’s honestly the best in the city. I introduced my boyfriend to them who is from Louisiana and he says it is the best king cake he’s ever had! I’ve had other things from the case and everything has been delicious.

They have some of the most delicious pastries I have ever tasted.I want to give an extra special THANK YOU for baking an Amaretto cake on short notice for my wife's birthday.
