I am a raw vegan so it's hard to eat out anywhere but this place has options thought the prices were high and portions small good but to expensive for me.

I’m not even the type of person who writes reviews but given the extreme disrespect was given as a repeat paying customer…well here we go!I am writing this review as I sit in the parking lot pissed. I am leaving green seed after visiting for the 4th time in a week. I decided to get the chicken fried cauliflower sandwich (2nd time). Along with some sides. $22 total.Halfway through the sandwich the bottom bun with hard as a rock in the middle. I ask the very polite young man at the counter can you get me another bun??? Not remake the sandwich just another bun.He gladly takes the whole sandwich disappears in the back. He comes back two minutes later and tells me his manager is saying I need to buy another sandwich.I ask to speak to manager and the young man goes back to their kitchen behind the curtain. He comes back and tells me his manager is on the phone and says he will not give a bun and does not want to talk to the customer. So you will lose a repeat paying customer over a bottom bun? That’s business decision. Poor quality of one bun and a lack of consideration for one customer.I hate it because the food has been good. The young man at the counter has been an amazing representation of customer service and I’ve been happy to tip him.But this is a $14 sandwich I at least want to eat the bottom bun.Again I give everyone grace and NEVER write reviews but I dare the management of this restaurant to deny this happened and tell me my expectations were unreasonable.

Really great selection of unique vegan dishes. Only problem is the portion size - I felt cheated and sadly, left hungry. Quick service, diner-style. Could use a little more love on the outside.Dietary restrictions: All vegan menu, with raw vegan options

I tried this place because of the reviews i saw. I wanted to try vegan food. The service was nice. I tried the first bite of my order, the green seed burger and thought this might be okay but once i had the second bite i realized this was not for me. I also could not get into the cauliflower nuggets. I guess it is an acquired taste or maybe you a different palate. If i can find a good vegan place i will try it again so on to the next.

Just ordered the Sweet Porta Panini. It was recommended by a super sweet young lady at the front counter. The Panini was AMAZING. This is a small black owned restaurant. It’s super cute. Nice vibe. The place was super clean. The female cash register was nice, the gentleman who brought out my food was very nice and professional. Will definitely come back. This place is a vibe!

1st & last time here…was looking for Linddiana food truck, but they don’t open till 12:30 on Saturday…the human at the counter never changed their gloves going from food prep to handling money..when asked if they would they professed they had OCD and would change gloves…its a partition curtain setup that separates the cooking area from the register…if effort is given one could see through the openings…this individual served food, prepped food, & handled cash in the same gloves…just nasty on top of nasty…my expensive vegan meal was a donation as it went straight to the trash!

Excellent place for Vegan paninis! We came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved the paninis and came back again! The Sweet Porta Panini is a repeat favorite . Their juices are fantastic and we loved the Raw Lemon Blueberry cheesecake. Will be back and with friends and family!

Let, me first say that the food here is rather tasty. Everything came out nice, hot and fresh. I indulged in the cauliflower burger with dill pickle sweet potato fries. We also ordered bottles of water & a smoothie, which we never got. So we decided to go for a juice, and it was just okay. This place is small, it wasn’t cleaned. The tables were beyond filthy. I literally had to ask the person delivering my food if I could have a wipe to clean my own table. I do understand that eating healthy costs a little bit more. My tab was a little over $25 for 3 items. ** Completely Understandable**. However, what I don’t understand is waiting 38 minutes for food and another 18 minutes for fries. As I was there 2 people walked out after asking how long it would take. This woman waited well over 25 minutes for her food only to have to sauce spill in her bag. The girl at the register went to the back to assist them in the back. I have never seen someone leave the front to assist the back. And she told people it would be a 30 plus minute wait because they were short staffed in the back. She told us 20 minutes. This place is EXTREMELY SMALL for the amount of business on SUNDAY!!! TimeThe time had indeed doubled, it was a complete MAD house with so many people they couldn’t keep up. Truly unacceptable & not the best customer service. The food was amazing, but the staff just couldn’t keep up. We asked how long the smoothie would take and we were told at least another 30 minutes. Ripleys would not believe that, if I told them.

I’m a plant based restaurant lover, esp of raw delights! Unfortunately I can’t recommend the raw burger/collard wrap here at Green Seed cafe. The patty was dry and the item lacked flavor. the manager refused to trade the burger for a different dish even though I explained I don’t care for this item. The employee begrudgingly gave me some extra sauce to put on it (after trying to charge me for it). I don’t think I’ll be back here, due to the other many vegan cafes in Houston to try out :)
