Well, the folks running this joint could honestly do a bit better. Very kind and patient but Maybe it was too busy because they were a little behind with items that were sold out and hard to keep up with when it came to sauces on the side. To add, the bread pudding that is sold "to go" is cold / frozen? You have to heat it up yourself at home or i suppose you can get it heated up before you go or if you eat it there. The Flavor was in fact delicious! So i gotta give them that. My favorite flavor is Nanas Traditional! So Good! They have good coffee too! Visited this Black owned husband and wife restaurant for the first time, located on FM 529/Queenston in Houston. There was a minimal wait following customers in front of me. Barstools with a long counter lined one wall, with cute orange sofas on another wall, and a few tables. It has a roomy clean interior and has been in business for 2 years. The glass enclosed counter display showcases labeled bread pudding samples, cookies, a laminated menu with each variety and sauces to accompany each. An easel next to the sofas advertises the weekly specials. Joined their mailing list which includes monthly specials and a customer loyalty rewards program. I met the owner, Max, and an employee, Aubrey, who were friendly and informative during my visit. Purchased 3 slices: Jameson Whisky Raisin, Vanilla Bean, and Caramel Bourbon Apple with the owner's recommendations for sauces. Each flavor definitely had its own bragging rights. Full pans are available as well to purchase. Prices are reasonable.

I have driven by this place a few times, today we ate out and wanted a little treat. This place was open on Easter so we popped in. The lady that helped us is the owner, she stated her husband was the one that made the puddings. It was a little overwhelming for me only because I have only tasted plain bread pudding in the past. She explained the different kinds and recommended sauces for the puddings as there are a variety to choose from. We ordered 3 different kinds, the Banana foster and white chocolate bread puddings were our absolute favorites, we paired the Banana foster with the Rum cream and the white chocolate with the white chocolate, I had a coffee with mine and it was delicious. You can also order half a pan and/or a whole pan and takes about 2 days. I will definitely come back! These puddings are so satisfying, great service and the seating area is clean and modern. Great atmosphere. I look forward to trying the other flavors.

What an awesome place! Super clean build out, amazingly nice people running the place, and a flavor of bread pudding for everybody!We ended up buying 4 different slices to try with 4 different sauces. This is well worth the drive to see them.

The restaurant is very clean and inviting. The owners were such a delight and took time to explain and give suggestions on my first visit. I bought the sweet potato crumble with sea salted caramel sauce, cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting, and caramel cream with bourbon caramel sauce. All of the bread puddings and sauces were very good. However, caramel cream with that bourbon caramel sauce was ???. I will definitely be coming back to try more flavors and sauces in the near future.
This gem is amazing the bread pudding was delicious I had the bourbon caramel apple, sweet potato crunch bread pudding and the lemon blueberry bread pudding. I didn't taste the lemon blueberry one because I gave it to my daughter but the other two was the bomb.com. My favorite was the bourbon caramel apple whoa that was goodt goodt. The service was top notch A1 service come to find out she was from Louisiana and that's where I'm from so it was awesome to find this place and then to find out we're from the same state. This establishment is a black owned husband and wife team and the shop itself is beautiful the ambiance is great a nice place to unwind and enjoy dessert with coffee if you choose too. I will definitely be returning to try the other flavors of bread pudding. If you like or love bread pudding I recommend you try this establishment.

Not your grandma's bread pudding! This place has a variety of delicious flavor options that will certainly change your mind about bread pudding! The texture of the puddings I have tried so far are more like a cheesecake and nothing like the bread pudding my mawmaw used to make. Plus each flavor has its own sauce that can be added on top and elevates the flavor!The location is very clean and cozy with excellent customer service. There are also cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate available if you so choose. I highly recommend The Gulf Coast Bread Pudding to anyone looking for a delicious sweet treat! You definitely will not regret going there!

I found this place as a recommendation from Instagram and it did not disappoint. They are a new business and are in a position to add to their team. I chose two of their bread puddings to get a well rounded experience. One was Strawberry Cinnamon Roll and the other was the seasonal King Cake. The strawberry Cinnamon Roll won me over. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I was quite pleased.
