Man it felt so good to be able to stop at Harold’s chicken today, being from the south side of Chicago I really appreciate being able to have one of the best chicken restaurants here in Texas and the mild sauce just brings back memories lol. I was told that it was one coming to San Antonio, please make that happen ??
As a Chicagoan…this FOOD was amazing!! Everything taste just like home from the crisp of the chicken,the seasoning,the sauce! Everything was just like a slice of Chicago!! Great hospitality from the cook! Definitely will be back!

First of all it was very hard to navigate to the menu from online, so I decided to send for take out. Upon their arrival the cashier seemed to be busy, I was FaceTime so I could look at the menu, as questions was asked about different items the cashier responded with , huh? What? Just to me rude and not pleasant. The 4 piece wing dinner was almost 20 so we decided to just go with the 10 piece wings which came with fries and bread ONLY. Hot sauce is an additional.75. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes, they didn’t come with any dipping sauce. My total was 34 and some change. I haven’t received my food yet so I can really say if it’s worth it. After the attitude and customer service ion think I’ll be sending or stopping through anymore. I Hope that the chicken is hot and the other fried food are Still crispy. I passed by 6 different chicken spots that was less expensive and reliable on taste but I wanted to try Harold’s. We were going to order gizzards and livers as well but once the customer service was below and I could get a clear answer once I was offered lemon pepper, Buffalo, mild sauces to be added on top but I couldn’t get any of these sauces on the side w/o an extra charge I said just forget it!!! I still had to make sure that it was just plain fried chicken and not hot with wings. Please work on your front counter custom service.

Time for another Tim's food update review im not in chicago but still got that @houston_harolds_chicken_ the service was really good and loved the atmosphere I got the 3 piece wings with 2 piece catfish and you got to get the Kool aid. The chicken was fresh and had good flavor will give it a 7.8/10 and the catfish was was really good as well, will give it a 8.4/10. If you in the Cypress area I definitely recommend stopping by @houston_harolds_chicken_ you won't be disappointed ?

Wait time.... a bit long.Food.... Tenders were pretty good. 4 Piece Wing dinner was more like, 4 Wing Tips and a huge pile of soggy fries. Embarrassingly emaciated, thin wings. The bread that comes with the meal...a slice of greasy Wonder Bread under the fries. Worth $33? Hellllll no.Service.... The girl who took my order was ok. Had to really struggle not to throw attitude her way. She was on the edge of inviting it. The chick giving me my food at the end, on the other hand, well....Quote:"Me: Is that everything?Her: You want cole slaw?Me: Does it come with the meal?Her: Yea.Me: Then..... uh, yeah."She grabs 2 little bullets of slaw and literally throws them into the bag and says,"There."It was decided in that very last second. Never again.The cook was very cool, btw.

Do yourself a favor & get some flavor! Second time coming here, and dined with my friend who is from Chicago. The food is made fresh, it takes a little time - but you know that going in, and it is well worth the wait! I don’t mind waiting for hot, fresh and delicious food! The 6 piece and shrimp combo, the perfectly cooked fries, delicious mild sauce, music vibes and super clean interior. I love it. I only wish one was closer to me, but I definitely don’t mind driving. I’ll be back again and again. Thank you for outstanding service!!
