Amazing ice cream. We are visiting Houston and this little sweet spot will be a place I will return to. I got a double scoop, two different flavors, praline pound cake(amazing!) and Mexican vanilla (yum!). The shop is nestled in a cool area around other shops, the atmosphere was nice and the employees were super nice and you can sample any flavor you’d like. They had amazing different flavors that I sampled, Texas sheet cake, strawberry pound cake, and buttermilk pie. It was hard to choose, they were all delicious!

It's always wonderful - tastes delicious and high-quality. Not too sweet. Chefs sometimes compensate for poor-quality ingredients with an avalanche of sugar. Not Honeychild - locally sourced and beautifully balanced custards!Don't forget to try the puddings. They're divine, but easy to forget because they're in the freezer behind you!

The mint chocolate ice cream is pretty and delicious. You can see and taste the little bits of crushed mint and thin shards of chocolate. The grapefruit sorbet was light and sweet. Both were fluffy and flavorful. The sweet corn waffle cone is made with some cornflour, which makes it crispy. The texture is thick yet airy like a stroopwafel without the syrup. There are cute woven cane chairs for bar seating. They feel stable for sitting and eating. If you decide to recline, it does feel precarious.

A few weeks ago I got two scoops of ice cream and it was around $6. Went back and I got two scoops, but in separate bowls as to not mix my 4 year olds vanilla, and they charged me $13! I should have said something but was in a hurry and paid it but that's highway robbery. I think the girl was confused but I won't be back for that price.
The service was amazing, I ordered an ice cream and it was delicious, the best part was the cone it was crunchy

Honeychild's Sweet Creams is located in a really nice commercial center amongst some really great restaurants. It's a great stop after lunch or dinner. There's limited seating inside. The staff are really kind and helpful. I personally find most of the flavors too much on the cream/milky side. There are very limited options for the lactose intolerant. My favorite to date is Meyer lemon, which I believe is one of their seasonal flavors. Otherwise, the coffee flavor is a good one.
