Got there at 11am and the guy sent us away saying they were opening at 11 40am? Odd. We came back after work, the guy's attitude is really off and unwelcoming. The menu doesn't provide any details about the fries only their names and I had to ask those details since I'm vegetarian, and he acted like it was such an inconvenience for him as if I'm supposed to know. I made 3 orders in total, 1 for dine-in and 2 to-go, every time I added and order for some reason he thought I was changing my whole order over and over when I already said I was dining in and getting orders to go aswell, I had to repeat myself like 6 times. He made me pay twice saying he has to charge the orders separately which i find really absurd and proves he doesn't communicate with the kitchen well. I've worked with the same Clover POS system they have and I know he is able to add instructions for the orders separately and still do a single payment. I didn't argue with the guy about it, and sat down. I got my order, with no napkins, no silver/plasticwears neither for me and my friends at the table nor for my togo orders. the drinks were flat, and it took him 10 min to replace them, to which i tried to be understanding because he was probably trying to fix the fountain machine. I got no sauce for my 3 orders of fries I made, I went to the counter and asked for the sauces and he told me it was $0.75 p/e and yeah that doesn't make sense to sell me fries and not provide any sauce for me to dip them in and then try to charge me for it on top? That's insane, greedy and ridiculous. The fact I had to get up and ask for everything that i needed for our table tells me the lack of care and common sense from this guy and therefore the stablishment itself as a whole for not looking to train their employees properly and not having a manager on shift.To finalize my review, I'd like to mention my shock when 3 days later I was informed by one of my friends the reasoning the server shared with his manager of his lack of costumer service towards us was because of his assumptions of my sexual orientation, and I say "assumptions" because that matter is not of his business nor concern. This is really disappointing and so disrespectful because besides the inconvenience, I just want to get my food, pay, and go, I still cleared the table, i was willing to pay for those sauces for my order, I remained collected while facing his attitude and now revealed discrimination. I don't think I'll return to this stablishment but i hope they fix this issue. ?

UPDATE- My review mysteriously continues to disappear.This place is running an unethical business practice. I came here for the first time to pick up an order for work (office crew) and place an order for myself. After ordering several items, I paid. Waited and food was done. I even left a tip in the jar. However later that day, I noticed that my CashApp account was negative. I only move from my bank exact amounts into the payment method. Someone wrote themselves in an “extra tip.” When I did not authorize this. This is disgusting and downright bad for business. Please beware that when you are making a purchase or swiping your card, they will be filling in their own tip.I definitely will not be coming back here. As they have taken an additional tip…be warned and monitor your bank accounts please.

The waffle fries are good and the soy garlic is better than the honey garlic but otherwise it's very mid. It took over 45 minutes for food to come out when there were only 2 groups of two ahead of us dining in. There were two takeout orders in between but the time between the last order out the kitchen and ours was at least 30 minutes. Even though there was a lot of down time the waitress also forgot our water until after the food came out and we asked for it. Houston has a lot of Korean fried chicken places so won't be coming back to this one.

On a relatively slow day, after ordering, I waited 1 hour for my food (7 pc chicken). After asking for water, they forgot about it and never came. While passing by to service another table that came in, I was given a nonchalant "sorry for the long wait, there are to go orders being made but yours will come shortly". Then another 20 minutes.It seems the to go orders were prioritized over my sit down order...The chicken itself was ok and I was reading stuff in the meantime, but I was about ready to walk out. Restaurant prices but not restaurant quality. 1 star overall if not for the great fries.

I first of all want to say that i have pateonized Hoodadak many times before. Each time the service and the food was very good. I want to complain however about the shoddy customer service I received today. I order the large wings, half soy garlic and original. I ordered the original because my Dad does not handle spice very well. This is what i get everytime we come. I and my father tasted the original. It immediately set our mouths on fire with spice. I brought the chicken back to explain this and to see of they would refix the original side od the order as somebody in thw back emptied the pepper bucket on the chicken. Please note, my soy garlic wasnt spicy, but extremely salty. I was told by the clerk, basically i was not lying and refixing my order was futile. I asked to speak to the manager, after 5 minutes of waiting, all i got was an answer from the cook, he did not use spice on the original order. At this point, i realized it was futile and walked out. I will never patronize this place again, especially as the customer service from the employees is as shoddy as this and no one is willing to correct mistakes. I believe in getting what I paid for, and the attitude and actions I recieved suggested i just wanted something for free. You should really educate your employees about customer service and what spice is. I am very angry and disappointed in how I was treated today.

First time trying this place out. Im impressed we had the sampler which is overpriced i say this because its only 8 wings and they charging like 20$ like woah chill. But all the flavors were very good the soy garlic is the best. I also tried sweet and spicy and original and hot all good. Only negative thing i have to say is that they are really slow getting your food out and bringing things back to you like ranch that you already asked for upfront and refills. Still the food 10/10

Pay is upfront now, but there was a point where we waited a literal ? ???? + ?? ??????? ??? ??? ????. The change doesn't really take into account the mediocre service that you could receive.Staff has changed multiple times since then. New staff lacks in communication now. No guidance with the menu at all, or the new process of dining-in.I think you'd get a better experience going at a different location.

Super cute interior. Felt like I was in a kdrama sitting inside while it was pouring outside.The food was yummy. The fries were well-seasoned and crunchy. The wings were delicious. The popcorn chicken paired very well with pickled radish and ranch.Fast and friendly service.

This isn't korean fried chicken. Chick fil a beats their chicken sandwich. Churches is better than their chicken. Best korean chicken spot is still choong man. I thought bon chon was mid but this is the lowest of them all. Service was fine. Walk to the counter and order. Super hot sauce isn't that hot but it is flavorful. Won't be going back. Nothing special. Oh and and super expensive for what you get. 9 dollar fries for hard stale fries. This aint it fam
