I didn't end up getting anything because of the service and unavailability of the item. Online, it said I could order the jack sandwich, but when I got there, I waited 10 minutes to be greeted then for her to tell that they don't have the sandwich. Never specified indefinitely or not. This was my first time here, and was excited to try. Now. I'm not even giving in a 2nd chance like I usual.Parking: Parking is on the street or pay to park at Turkeyleg hut which is on the same premises as food truck

The link sandwich was so good I had to make sure that it was really vegan. The sausage tastes like real meat, and the barbecue sauce wasn’t too tangy and instead more on the sweet side, which made the sandwich very delicious.

Veef Baked Potato was beyond amazing ?? I can’t wait to go back and try more
Update: went back to give this place another chance while I was in the area, but it was not worth the almost $20 spent. The portion sizes were so small a grown man would've been hungry after. Not enough sauce on the links, which were cold, the mac and cheez was too al dente and runny, and the potato salad and everything else was bland. The links were good but not appetizing eaten cold. I love the idea of vegan BBQ but i think the prices need to come down for the quality I received. Just not a great visit with flies buzzing round the truck. The owner seems to be doing very well with his other businesses, but the food truck is declining.---Great food here but the website and online ordering is awful, when it works (no way to customize or choose sides to add to plates). Waited a while in line to find out they were out of the item I drove 45 minutes for, so wish they had a better communication system. Last issue is that they want to charge $5 to add swamp sauce. Way overpriced. Love the concept of vegan bbq but it is soo expensive even after being open for a couple of years now. The business owner has multiple vegan stores/restaurants open and is doing quite well. Hope the cooks are getting paid well to be working in that tiny truck!

We don’t visit often but when do, there are issues. Today, the lone person working was extremely overwhelmed on top of the language barrier. They lost business for sure due to frustration. We were about to leave as well but the order was already in.In addition, what we ordered was not available once it was finally available. It’s the weekend and this place is popular. Why don’t they have more help.Well, the food was good to say the least. Hope the management team can get it together going forward.

Hits that BBQ craving! I've wanted BBQ so bad since I became vegetarian and especially so when in Houston. This place did not disappoint! I ordered via DoorDash this time but I'll definitely be back to try some items fresh from the truck. I love that DoorDash was an option. The Brisket Mac was my favorite, but everything was amazing .

Great vegan BBQ! Delicious! The card machine was not working. Fortunately I had cash from my gig the night before. I wish they had more than one table for folks to have a spot to eat. But overall this food slaps.

Ordered online and was able to park on the street right in front of the food truck and pick up my food. This food truck is located on Almeda, which is a pretty busy street, so depending on what’s going on in the city, you may find it difficult to find parking. I ordered the smoked links plate with bbq baked beans and potato salad, but I was told upon arrival that they were out of potato salad. I ordered the brussels sprouts as my alternative side and was sent on my way with my food shortly after. The food was good. The baked beans are a little sweet, which I enjoyed. The brussel sprouts have a smokey flavor. I feel the links gave off smoked sausage vibes for the most part. Overall, the food was decent. I’m not a big fan of vegan food, but this place is worth a try. A little bit on the pricey side but that seems to be consistent with vegan food in Houston.

I absolutely LOVE the sauce pit but when I advise you to NOT utilize the online ordering option, take my word! Apparently I’m the fool for trying three times and they never have what I’ve ordered and paid for. Just drive up there and see what’s left to avoid headaches.

It was okay, I the food was good. While doing the Daniel fast, I'm having cravings, so this did do its job. I wish my plate would have been fuller. Very stingy with the sides, but in all it was a recommendation of a link plate. I enjoyed it.
