This place is by far the best I’ve tasted in Houston Texas. Everyone was nice the place is very clean. My husband and I can’t stop hyping them up they are just that amazing. From the homemade sauce to the rice everything tastes like it was made with real love and that’s the type of food I want to be eating they can have my money any time.

I’ve ordered here through UberEats and OMG the food is delicious!!! I’m obsessed with the callaloo and saltfish, big portions and just sooo tasty. The beef patties are the best I’ve ever had and has a nice spicy to it. I highly recommend this place.

I went into Huzzy today 3/27/2024. I called my order in before I got there. When I picked my order up, the lady in there was RUDE. She had a attitude because I had 2 orders of cabbages and she put them in one container. So, when I asked for them to be separated she said you do know you are getting more this way. I didn't care because I was ordering for me and someone else. I left there and wasn't gone for 20 minutes opened my food and it was a bug in both of my cabbages. I called and a man answered and I told him what happened. He gives my this whole story about people do stuff to get money or to get over on people and businesses. That rubbed me they wrong way I'm not talking about people I'm talking about me. I was told I couldn't get my money back but I can get an exchange. He told me that once you leave you can't get either money back or exchange; he kept accusing me of trying to scam him and get over on him. He goes on to say that I had bugs in my car and that's where the bugs come from. I went back showed them the bug they were refusing me of a refund but wanted to give me more cabbages. Like who wants more bug infested cabbages. I ordered patties and they were hard so I didn't even eat those. He lied like the health department comes every month to check there restaurant for bug and etc. Long story short spend your money somewhere else. Go somewhere the atmosphere will be cleaner looking as well as the owner or worker will have a better attitudes and definitely will have GOOOOOOOD food. The cabbages don't even give jamaican at all, they were plain and didn't have any flavor. The inside of the building is not inviting and the owners are not welcoming at all. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE YOU WILL EAT BUGS.....AND GET TALKED TO WITH DISRESPECT WHEN YOU LET THEM KNOW ABOUT IT.UPDATE ON THE REPLY:One thing for sure you know this has nothing to do with a container. Walked in for the first time and was looking forward to trying out some new food and walked up to the cashier and asked to a simple question about the jerk chicken and she had caught a really nasty attitude with me so far to the point that she rolled eyes and seemed like she didn't want even be there......... it's unfortunate, because I was having a long day and for me to innocently go to a restaurant and and be put through that sort of treatment is wrong..........i walked it and it was empty.....just goes to show why.........please do not come into this establishment unless you have the patience to deal with rude attitudes.......NO BUENO!!!!!!!

Large Jamaican oxtails 5/5 The Jamaican sauce was flavorful The jerk chicken was amazing just like the oxtails. Everything fell off the bone, seriously amazing. I won't stop! I have tried them all in Houston. Unless you are in Kingston or up in the hills you won't find a more consistent flavor or jamaican food than Huzzy's. Mind you it's a lot of great Jamaican establishments in Houston this one gets my 5 stars! Best goat and Red Snapper ever.The chicken soup is as good as any. Call a head or be prepared to wait for your fish. Clean and the gentlemen who work the register are perfect gentlemen. No worries, safe well lit area.
