First time visiting Ichiban and I will be back. Peter was great & his hospitality was amazing. Ask for him as your server. My new Katy Hibachi spot!

Had dinner from this restaurant. Beware of the fast talking server ... they upsell without you realizing it ... You ended up purchasing food that you did not ask for.

Pricey for such small portions, food was okay. Better off going to Panda Express and getting your moneys worth ? $20+ for each plate, a bottle of Arizona was $3 damn near $4.

Dined here for the first time this past weekend. Got the walnut shrimp (which is an extra charge) and bourbon chicken along with fried rice. The flavor of the food was pretty bad. The walnut shrimp had a sour, creamy taste to it...definitely not what I expected, had to toss it. The bourbon chicken was pretty flavorless...had no depth. Overall, the only thing I enjoyed was the fried rice. I also got a plate from the the adjacent restaurant, Wokaholic, for comparison. I felt Wokaholic's food had better flavor but it was very chewy. I wouldn't visit or order from either again, there are much better places to get quality food for the same price.

Low Taste, can try 1 last time or not. Try the other area of Food Court parallel to Ice Rink.

Cheap and quick food. Big portions. Taste is not great but good enough.
This is the Chinese food stall at the Galleria mall, FYI. I'm not going to hold them to a super high standard or anything because it's the mall food court but honestly, I'm quite satisfied with Ichiban. It's cheap, fast, and quite tasty. They also always have free samples so you know what you're getting. If they're not offering the item you were interested in -- just ask them, I'm sure they'll let you try whatever you want. I always order the Bourbon Chicken -- fat chunks of chicken with delicious sauce. Last time, I got the string beans as well -- they were quite good (with just enough crisp to them). TIP: Grab a plastic bag for your styrofoam container while you look for a table. My sauce spilled out last time!

I was supposed to be charged 1199 for my plates. Instead the guy charged me 1399 because that's the highest plate they have. I got walnut shrimp it tasted like mayonnaise to shrimp. The egg roll was cold in the middle. The shrimp fried rice had no flavor and I had to pay an extra dollar 99 for that too.

The poor reviews on this place are crazy.. what're people expecting from a cheap, mall cafeteria Chinese joint? Got the lo mein noodles, Beijing beef, and orange chicken. That along with fried veggie rolls and some crab rangoon. The lo mein and proteins were awesome. Crab rangoon, awesome. Veggie rolls were just ok but, it was a friend of mine who got them anyway as they're not my favorite to begin with. Guys at the counter were nice and offered free samples. STILL looking for the best, cheap, quick, Chinese food Houston has to offer but this was solid all things considered. Forgot to take a pic :/
