Normally this would have been a good review. I used to come here all the time and there was an older black lady behind the counter, Great Service. I went in today bc they do $2 Chicken like churches and any other time I come in the food is fresh and the service is great! But today I went got my food and got to the car I took a bite it tasted stale to me. So I go back in and I asked "hey is this the fresh chicken". Bc It was warm so it could have just been cooked but it was burnt looking and the crust wasn't crunchy at all it was stale! But the lady said it is fresh, so I'm like okay maybe 'I'm tripping' so then I go back to my car pinch on the thigh and it's old for sure I can see the skin separating different it's so old.. I realized 'im not gone eat this' so I take it back. But before I can say my request I was rudely interrupted by the lil Mexican lady behind the counter. She was like "refund". So I reluctantly agreed and I said "sure" and took my black ssa to churches since they know what polite and fresh means. And it actually sucks bc they really do have good food but if I'm spending my money I refuse to be treated like an unwanted step child. Maybe it was fresh I was just gone suggest they changed the grease. Idk if I'll be back I'm a mood eater and now I don't have good memory of the store so probably not. P.S The neighborhood is NOT bad I don't know why someone said that but it's offensive ?

Kudos to the management!I bought a 10-piece hot and a 10-piece regular with a lot of high hopes in mind.I wouldn't call myself super health conscious. However, I would have appreciated it more if my chicken was not dripping grease.It would also have been more enjoyable if the spiciness was part of the original batter and cooked along with chicken. That would have truly ensured that it gets absorbed into the meat. Spraying hot sauce post-frying only keeps the skin spicy, but the meat stays bland.The above should not be too challenging to apply and address, and will go a long way business-wise.Happy to try again, and provide positive feedback if I'm heard.Thank you!

Had the freshest and most delicious halal hot fried chicken at Imperial Chicken! The food was prepared fresh to order (for our order at least), was well seasoned and was nicely served. Even the fries were really good. The only disappointment was the taste and presentation of their spicy Texas toast sandwich - the sandwich was a bit sloppy and soggy. Other than that - we had great service and good food. The wings and tenders were huge and are great value for money.The restaurant does have indoor seating available and parking is available too.
