A classic Irish bar with beer cocktails and pizza, just like in the old country. Decent patio seating, welcoming atmosphere, ok drinks. I was sad to find no leprechauns in the whole place, but I just didn't look hard enough. Dart boards are a big plus. Parking is shared with neighboring businesses, and if it wasn't Wednesday night like when I tried it, I bet parking is a pain in the behind. Uber and Lyft are your friends, so are whiskey shots and your nearest bar patrons. This has been a commonly picked spot to meet up with friends for years in my life, and has a nice Houston relaxed vibe. The run-down area is classic Houston too, it looks and feels better at night and with a good buzz going.

Pretty good pizza, cold beers, friendly staff. Keneally's is worth a visit. I really like the shamrock pizza, as far as I know this is the only place in town with a pizza like that. The regulars are friendly, too. It's a good little spot.

It’s a dive bar, which is fine, just know. They do serve Killenneys, which is almost impossible to find here. The pizza was the star of the

Came in with my lady after the pizza place we wanted to visit wasn't going to open for a few more hours and I remembered Kenneally's had pizza plus I always liked the atmosphere here.We ordered a pizza, extra crispy, with Chicken and Hamburger on one side for my lady, and I ordered tomato, mushrooms and bacon. When the pizza came out, it had pepperoni instead of chicken on my ladies side, so the server said they would make a new one for us, while we ate most of the original one, lol.I enjoyed the pizza and appreciated the bartender telling me that his cook was late, and he was doing both roles.Well done sir and a well poured Kilkenny.Parking: It can get dicey, but there is another area where you can park when the lot is full.Wheelchair accessibility: This place has wheelchair accessibility.

This is one that I've been meaning to get to. Took off a star because of the way they handled the mask thing a couple of years back. When you walk in the door it's like three feet to get to the bar. I went in and sat down. The bartender asked, "what's your problem?" I didn't really think I had one, so I just waited for him to tell me what it was. I'd have felt pretty stupid if I'd told him what I thought it might have been when, in his view, it might have been something entirely different. Thankfully, he was eager to oblige. "Unless you're sitting down, you have to wear a mask," he snapped. "I am sitting down," I explained. "Not when you came in. Do you even watch the news?" I don't watch the news. I wanted to tell him that his complaint was so 3 feet ago. I wanted to go back out and come back in again, scooting on my ass through the door. I wanted to see what would happen if I decided to stand at the bar right next to the stool. Then I wondered how the whole world had lost its fucking mind, collectively. I wanted to rename America "Hypochondria". Mostly I knew it was best to just order my to go pizza, and a Guinness to sip on while I waited for it to be ready. Anyway, it's a good pizza--really good. I love the place, aesthetically: It's dark and clean, and the bar staff is probably fully vaccinated and boosted. They are quite a friendly bunch, actually--even the masked marvel back there. He'd been nice enough in our previous exchanges, and has been during all of the ones since. Anyway, I shouldn't have complained so much in this review. I should just be thankful that during the "pandemic" nearly everyone I encountered was practically a professor of actual science and were willing to edify maskless, unperforated rubes like myself every time I stepped outside my house. And I witnessed some amazing things during that period: I saw an obese man peddling on something like an adult tricycle down Heights Blvd against traffic in the rain. He was wearing a surgeon's mask. I saw another man on a crotch rocket weaving through freeway traffic. He wasn't wearing a helmet, but he was wearing a mask. I saw a lady remove her mask briefly to take a drag off her cigarette, pull it back onto her face, and exhale into it. But most importantly, I'll say this again: Keneally's has a very fine pizza--a five STAR pizza.

Meet some old coworkers there recently. I really like the place mostly for the Chicago vibe and always friendly service even though they were understaffed one bartender and she was waiting tables too on a Tuesday. Whatever the pizza was good

We really miss great Chicago food/Midwest style pizza and we were so happy to find Kenneally's. Delicious, thin, cracker crisp crust with delicious sauce and toppings. We love the Italian sausage and black olives but it's all great! We also love the bar itself- it's a great place to eat and service is always friendly. The bar reminds us of any old Chicago bar that's been there forever- and in Houston years- it has! It's a cozy and comfortable space- always worth the trip when we're craving the real thing!
